Final Fantasy XIV players participating in Week 196 of the Gold Saucer's Fashion Report will need a Ceruleum Blue-dyed leg piece, Ul Brown-dyed footwear, and a Fluorite Ring to pass the 80 point mark. This Fashion Report's goals are relatively easy to accomplish and will generously reward 60,000 MGP to Final Fantasy XIV players who procure the correct articles of clothing. There are four methods to acquiring the Fluorite Ring, one of which is the player Market Board.

Like many played-sold items available on the Final Fantasy XIV Market Board, easily obtainable in-game items such as the Fluorite Ring are often traded at a much higher price than usual. However, well-to-do players who don't wish to go through any trouble to get the ring can buy it from another player. Alternatively, the Fluorite Ring in Final Fantasy XIV can be acquired through a short yet easy questline, Goldsmithing, or a somewhat obscure jewelry vendor in Ul'dah.

To earn the Fluorite Ring in Final Fantasy XIV, players must speak with Marcette, an eccentric Gridanian researcher located in Central Shroud at X: 16.5, Y: 18.6. She is the quest giver for "Fungal Frolic," the first of three Final Fantasy XIV quests where the player must defeat specific enemies in the nearby area. This quest is followed by "Shocking Discoveries," then "Doing the Dirty Work," which is the quest that rewards the player with a Fluorite Ring.

The easiest way to get the ring is by purchasing from a specific jewelry shopkeeper in Ul'dah, albeit many players may be unfamiliar with this vendor. The seller's name is Sileas, and players can access her shop using the Goldsmith Guild's Aetheryte Shard. Sileas is located in Ul'dah - Steps of Thal at X: 10.0, Y: 12.5 and sells a variety of Battle Accessories. She also sells the Flawless Band, an item needed for getting married in Final Fantasy XIV. Players can purchase the Fluorite Ring from her for 1,735 Gil.

The final way to obtain the Fluorite Ring is by making it with the Final Fantasy XIV crafting job, Goldsmith. Goldsmith Level 28 is required to craft the ring, along with the following materials:

  • Fluorite x 1 - crafted using Raw Fluorite, which can be found in Eastern Thanalan at X: 17.3, Y:21.0
  • Silver Ingot x 1 - crafted using Silver Ore, which can be found in South Shroud around X: 15.8, Y: 19.2
