Final Fantasy 7 Remake Intergrade is coming soon to PlayStation 5, bringing with it improved visuals and performance courtesy of Sony's latest console. While it's always nice to have faster load times and a higher framerate, it looks like FF7 fans will be getting even more when the game, and its first DLC starring Yuffie, arrives in June.

[WARNING: Spoilers for Final Fantasy 7 Remake below]

The new, final trailer for Final Fantasy 7 Remake Intergrade shows off probably more than it should. For starters, it shows off the final boss battle of the core game within the first 20 seconds, so those who have yet to play the game may want to steer clear. But for those who have already battled their way through Final Fantasy 7 Remake, some new surprises are in store. It also gives a much more in-depth look at what to expect from the game's Yuffie DLC, INTERmission, showing mini-games, boss battles, and key story moments.

From the return of numerous Dirge of Cerberus spin-off characters to tantalizing bits of Yuffie backstory, there's a lot to digest in this trailer. Here's everything new the trailer has revealed about Final Fantasy 7 Remake Intergrade and INTERmission.

While most of the game's final trailer puts a focus on the INTERmission DLC, it looks like the core game will, at the very least, be getting a new boss battle. The Dirge of Cerberus character Weiss, glimpsed in the game's first trailer, is back in this one, and this time it's clear he is battling Cloud and the gang within the Shinra VR battle simulator. How, exactly, players will unlock this new boss battle in Final Fantasy 7 Remake is unclear, but it's certainly interesting to see a prominent character from the FF7 spin-off Dirge of Cerberus take center stage.

Funnily enough, he's not the only Dirge of Cerberus character to make an appearance. Later in the the INTERmission segment of the trailer, Yuffie and her partner Sonon are seen battling yet another Dirge of Cerberus character, the gun-wielding Nero, in the process summoning Ramuh, a summonable character not seen in the base game. It's a lot to take in, but that's just the tip of the iceberg.

One of the DLC's boss battles is revealed in the trailer, as Yuffie and Sonon battle against Scarlet in a massive mech. Scarlet didn't get much screen time in the core Final Fantasy 7 Remake game, so it's nice to see her have an expanded role in INTERmission. Fans also get glimpses of some tragic moments with Yuffie and Sonon, one which seems to depict Shinra's war with Wutai, while another shows Yuffie watching some tragedy unfold, presumably the fall of the Sector 7 plate. It also shows Yuffie with blood on her face. The original Final Fantasy 7 included blood where the remake didn't, so it's interesting to see it here in this trailer.

And then, there is the Fort Condor mini-game. Fans have long wondered if one of the original Final Fantasy 7's most bizarre side quests would make its way into the remakes at some point, and it looks like it's coming in the INTERmission DLC, albeit in a different form. Rather than the party members actually going to Fort Condor, the mini-game is now a tabletop tower defense game played from the comfort of home.

It's all a lot to take in, and while the trailer does show plenty that could likely be considered spoilers, Final Fantasy 7 Remake Intergrade's final trailer certainly should get fans excited for more. From expanding on Yuffie's backstory to the return of Fort Condor and the introduction of multiple Dirge of Cerberus characters, Final Fantasy 7 Remake Intergrade is shaping up to be full of surprises.
