The official Fifty Shades Freed trailer and poster have been released online. The final installment in the Fifty Shades movie trilogy - based on E.L. James' hit novel series of the same name - is set to hit theaters in just three months. No doubt, die-hard fans are already wondering how Christian (Jamie Dornan) and Ana's (Dakota Johnson) whirlwind love story will wrap up on the big screen.

Following their engagement in Fifty Shades Darker, Fifty Shades Freed will see Ana and Christian take their relationship to the next level by actually married. Following the slew of revelations that came out about Christian's past during Fifty Shades Darker (including, his full history with "Mrs. Robinson"), the pair now feel that they are finally in a stable place and that taking it to the next level - by formally being husband and wife - seems to be a good idea. Little do they know, however, that another threat from Christian's past is looming in the shadows and waiting to strike at just the right time.

Before all of that fully unfolds this upcoming Valentine's Day, Universal has dropped the full-length trailer for the film, in order to keep fans excited for the Fifty Shades trilogy capper. You can also check out the official Fifty Shades Freed poster (yes, that is the real tagline) and plot synopsis, below:

Jamie Dornan and Dakota Johnson return as Christian Grey and Anastasia Steele in Fifty Shades Freed, the climactic chapter based on the worldwide bestselling “Fifty Shades” phenomenon.

Bringing to a shocking conclusion events set in motion in 2015 and 2017’s blockbuster films that grossed almost $950 million globally, the film arrives for Valentine’s Day 2018. Believing they have left behind shadowy figures from their past, newlyweds Christian and Ana fully embrace an inextricable connection and shared life of luxury. But just as she steps into her role as Mrs. Grey and he relaxes into an unfamiliar stability, new threats could jeopardize their happy ending before it even begins.

Also returning from prior Fifty Shades entries are Academy Award® winner Marcia Gay Harden, Eric Johnson, Rita Ora, Luke Grimes, Victor Rasuk, Jennifer Ehle, Eloise Mumford, Max Martini, Callum Keith Rennie, Bruce Altman and Robinne Lee, who are joined for the first time by Arielle Kebbel and Brant Daugherty.

Fifty Shades Freed is directed by Fifty Shades Darker’s James Foley (Fear, House of Cards) and once again produced by Michael De Luca, Dana Brunetti and Marcus Viscidi, alongside E L James, the creator of the culture-spanning blockbuster series. The screenplay is by Niall Leonard, based on the novel by James.
