For players who finish in the Gold 1 rank which is more than achievable for those who play a number of games, the rewards are three packs of varying quality and 8,000 coins. To have the maximum return possible from Squad Battles it is also a great opportunity to use different players in a team to grind towards many of the specific objectives which provide further packs and coins. This also means gamers avoid wasting consumables such as contracts and injuries by using the same players over and over again, which is a mistake to avoid at the beginning of FIFA 23.
While the rewards aren't as good as elsewhere in Ultimate Team, Squad battles can still prove useful for players at the start of the FIFA cycle. Consistently winning games on a high difficulty is not an easy task, but will provide players with some vital extra tradable packs each week.
