With the current story completed in Final Fantasy XIV: Endwalker, players await any glimpse of the next adventure for the Warrior of Light. Luckily, there is no lack of new content for players to enjoy while they wait for the next adventure to begin. Seasonal events are a chance for players to get new cosmetics to adorn their Warrior of Light. With the Heavensturn 2022 event ending soon, a more sinister event lurks around the corner, All Saints' Wake.

All Saints' Wake is Final Fantasy XIV's Halloween-themed event, bringing spooky cosmetics and furnishings to Eorzea. On January 20th, this delayed event rises from its grave to spook and scare players. Previous years have seen many beloved outfits such as the werewolf and witch attire. Rewards from these events can only be obtained in-game from participating in the event. Seasonal Event rewards become available later, but usually as purchasable items on Final Fantasy XIV's optional item shop. Players wishing to earn these rewards should participate in the event to get these items for free.

The previous delay to FFXIV's All Saints Wake is not going unrewarded, as players will receive some of the most prized seasonal rewards, character cosmetics. Players can clown around in the new rewards from this event, as players will receive a clown outfit, including exclusive clown facepaint. Players can also earn an outdoor and tabletop pumpkin set to decorate their private houses.

Starting the All Saints' Wake 2022 Event in Final Fantasy XIV

FFXIV All Saints Wake 2018

Starting on January 20th at 12 a.m. (PST), players can participate in the All Saints' Wake event. To be eligible to participate in the event, players must be at least level 15 and have completed the Main Scenario Quest "It's Probably Pirates," an early quest in the streamlined A Realm Reborn. Players that meet these requirements will need to talk to the Adventurers' Guild Investigator in Old Gridania at X: 10.4 Y: 8.4, near the Mih Khetto's Ampitheatre aetheryte in Gridania. Speaking to the Investigator will start the quest "All Clowns' Wake," the first quest in the event's questline.

Successful completion of the questline will unlock methods for players to receive tokens that can be exchanged for rewards and the vendor to trade these tokens to. While only the new items have been confirmed for the event, Square Enix's event page states that some items from previous iterations of this event will be available for purchase from the event's vendor. Players will not want to miss this opportunity to get their hands on these rewards.
