Final Fantasy 14’s fourth expansion, Endwalker, is coming in November and will bring with it a host of fresh content including a new Sage job, playable race, locations and encounters. The reveal came from the game’s producer and director Naoki Yoshida during the popular MMO’s annual Fan Festival event. As part of the opening presentation, Yoshida detailed the upcoming expansion while a cinematic trailer later gave fans a glimpse of the announced content.

As detailed in a press release from Square Enix, Final Fantasy 14: Endwalker promises to wrap up the game’s Hydaelyn and Zodiark story arc, as well as introduce a ton of new content when it releases on November 23, 2021. When the expansion hits, players will be able to take on the role of Reaper, a melee DPS equipped with a two-handed scythe and accompanied by an avatar from the void to help in battle. Fans can also look forward to playing as a male Viera. While the female variant came to the game in an earlier expansion, the male members of the rabbit-like Viera will join in this fall. Despite its name, Old Sharlayan is a new city being introduced in Final Fantasy 14: Endwalker. The beautiful stone city will serve as the backdrop for much of the players’ downtime. Additionally, the expansion will offer new locations to explore like Labyrinthos and Mare Lamentorum. That last locale will also host a horde of adorable bunnies in the Loporrits tribe.

Pre-orders for Endwalker’s collector’s editions, both physical and digital, are available in some stores now. A special Endwalker Collector’s Box is also up for grabs for $140 – which will come bundled in the Final Fantasy 14: Endwalker Collector’s Edition for PC but will require a separate purchase for other versions – and will include an art box, paladin figure, art prints with frame, a pin, and a Loporrit mini plush.
