While most optional sidequests that unlock content are marked with a "blue quest marker," some oddly are not, and the Delivery Moogle Quests in Final Fantasy XIV is one such questline. As its name implies, the Delivery Moogle questline has the player go from one location to another on various fetch quests. While the actual gameplay is far from engaging, the mini-stories and background lore in these quests reveal to the player much about the minor side characters in Final Fantasy XIV they met along the way.
Intriguing stories and charming dialogue aside, the primary incentive for completing the Delivery Moogle questline is its unique unlockables. Players will receive an abundance of food items while doing the quests, but the most amazing rewards are the Mini Mole Minion, Star-spangled Subligar, and Postmoogle Cap. The Postmoogle Cap, in particular, is an exceptional headpiece for many creative Glamour sets in FFXIV.
To unlock the Delivery Moogle Quests in Final Fantasy XIV, players must first complete "The Ultimate Weapon," the final MSQ of A Realm Reborn 2.0. Next, head to the region nearby North Silvertear in Mor Dhona at X: 30.4, Y: 13.7, and speak to an NPC named Klynthota. Next, accept the quest, "Of Errant Epistles," which has the player deliver a letter to Ryssfloh in Limsa Lominsa. After some cheeky dialogue with Ryssfloh and Deputy Postmoogle, the player will be granted a new "career" as a mail carrier. As players finish deliveries, they will "level up" their carrier status, but it won't affect their character like typical jobs in Final Fantasy XIV would.
Unlocking Special Rewards in the FFXIV Delivery Moogle Quests
Here's a list of unique rewards players can only obtain from the Delivery Moogle Quests in Final Fantasy XIV. Deputy Postmoogle is the quest giver for every delivery; however, keep in mind that some quests may have prerequisite side quests that aren't a part of the Delivery Moogle questline.
Mini Mole Minion
Begin the "Thwack-a-Mole" quest from Deputy Postmoogle to obtain Mini Mole. Additionally, players must be Carrier Level 5 and complete the following quests from Marcette: "Fungal Frolic," "Shocking Discoveries," and "Doing the Dirty Work." Marcette can be found in Central Shroud at X: 16, Y: 18, and she's also the NPC that can reward players with the Fluorite Ring in FFXIV.
Star-spangled Subligar
At Carrier Level 18, players can earn this questionable clothing piece after completing the delivery quest, "Thanks for Your Support."
Postmoogle Cap
The Postmoogle Cap is the reward for completing "The Little Postmoogle That Could," the final quest of the Delivery Moogle questline. By this time, players should already have achieved the Carrier Level 24 requirement.
