Rinascita is the new most powerful player-made equipment in Final Fantasy XIV patch 6.2. It even rivals in strength to items rewarded for the current raid series, Abyssos. In fact, with extra open Materia slots, Rinascita might be even better for those willing to invest a bit more.
The Italian Renaissance naming is no mere coincidence. Rinascita clothing uses a brand new unique model with striped sleeves, flashy hoods, and domino masks. Avid Final Fantasy XIV Glamour users can easily use this set to make outfits reminiscent of Assassin’s Creed hero Ezio.
Rinascita has both great stats and is very fashionable. This means that it will be a great set of items to sell and make a large profit. On the other hand, it does mean that would-be buyers may have to spend quite a lot if they are not Final Fantasy XIV master craftsmen. For those that are not serious raiders, consider waiting on Rinascita until the costs of raw materials subside.
Master Crafting Rank 10 in Final Fantasy XIV
To begin crafting Rinascita weapons and armor, players will need to have reached level 90 on a crafting class and also purchased the new Master Recipe X books with Final Fantasy XIV White Crafter Scrips. These are sold from Scrip Exchange stands from all over Eorzea. Each individual book costs 1,200 Scrips, for a total of 9,600 to own them all (but Culinarian is not used for the actual Rinascita gear). Those looking for specific equipment and materials types can choose to prioritize recipes of different crafting classes:
- Carpenter: Paldao Lumber, Dragoon Spear, Bard Bow, White Mage Cane, Bracelets, Rings
- Blacksmith: Ilmenite Ingot, Paladin Sword, Warrior Axe, Dark Knight Great Sword, Gunbreaker Gunblade, Reaper Scythe, Monk Knuckles, Samurai Katana, Ninja Daggers, Machinist Gun, Dancer Quoits
- Armorer: Ilmenite Ingot, Paladin Shield, Fending/Maiming Helms, Fending/Maiming Vambraces, Fending/Maiming/Scouting/Aiming Sabatons
- Goldsmith: Rutilated Quartz, Black Mage Rod, Red Mage Rapier, Astrologian Plainsphere, Sage Pendulums; Striking/Scouting/Aiming/Casting/Healing Helms, Necklaces
- Leatherworker: Titanoba Leather, Striking/Healing/Casting Boots, Aiming/Striking/Scouting/Healing/Casting Gloves, Earrings
- Weaver: Bayberry Cloth, Striking/Aiming/Scouting/Healing/Casting Armor, Pants
- Alchemist: Alkahest Grade 7, Tincture Grade 7, Summoner and Scholar Codex
Crafting Equipment and Setup
Once having the appropriate recipes, players will also need to reach minimum stats of 3700 Craftsmanship and 3280 Control although more is always better. This can be achieved with a mix of Final Fantasy XIV Pactmaker equipment - made with Master Recipe IX books - and Perfectionist’s gear bought with Purple Crafter’s Scrips. Both are item level 590, but Pactmaker winds up being more useful due to being eligible for Final Fantasy XIV’s overmelding, allowing up to five Materia instead of just two.
Crafting will go even more smoothly with High-Quality ingredients. This will result in a higher chance of Rinascita being more powerful when finished and avoid the chance of the synthesis failing entirely. Players might also want to gather their raw materials by taking their own Final Fantasy XIV Gatherers out on the field. This winds up saving a lot of extra Gil, though it does require a higher time investment and the creation of additional Pactmaker tools for both Miner and Botanist classes.
