Hildibrand Manderville-inspired Relic Weapons have arrived in Final Fantast XIV. While not the most powerful weapon as of patch 6.25, it is a good initial catch-up weapon for those that have not done much raiding. Additionally, by taking care of the weapon, it will eventually become the ultimate option at the end of Endwalker’s lifecycle.

Like other Relic Weapons from past Final Fantasy XIV expansions, the Manderville weapon will involve some kind of strenuous grind later on. The current first step is simply a cakewalk introduction, while others will make use of both new and past content. There is a chance that it could tie into even the new Variant and Criterion Dungeons, though Square has yet to confirm either way.

Getting the first Manderville Relic is fast for long-time players that have been enjoying Final Fantasy XIV for years. However, for those that have not done any non-story sidequests, it may take hours. There are a lot of older quests to complete, and to speed up the process it is possible to skip cutscenes and mash through dialogue prompts.

FFXIV: How to Make a Manderville Relic

To even start off the latest Endwalker high-level Relic Weapon, players will need to complete every single Manderville-related sidequest from A Realm Reborn, Heavensward, and Stormblood. There were no quests in Shadowbringers, but the Endwalker-related quests will take players back to The First Shard for exploration. This does include several Trial fights against Final Fantasy icons like Gilgamesh and Yojimbo, but players can complete them by removing level sync and using less than the typical eight-man full party.

FFXIV: How to Make a Manderville Relic

After doing all the above quests, the latest Final Fantasy XIV Relic option will open up. This is the quest Make it a Manderville from Manderville House Servant at Radz-at-Han (X:12, Y:11.2). They will request three Manderville Meteorites for each Relic per class. These can be purchased from Jubrunnah at X:12.2, Y:11 for 500 Tomestones of Allegory each. That comes out to a total of 28,500 for those who want to collect every single one of the 19 combat jobs.

As of Final Fantasy XIV patch 6.2, the weekly cap of Allegory was removed and there are many ways to collect them. To lower the monotony one can switch between a variety of activities including PvP, undertaking daily roulettes, or simpler raids like the latest tier of Pandaemonium Abyssos normal tier. However, Allegory will also probably be the currency used for Relics until patch 6.4, making it important to not needlessly overspend.

    Summary:
Final Fantasy 14 (Final Fantasy XIV) is the fourteenth entry in the Final Fantasy franchise. It is an MMORPG that initially launched in 2010 before it was completely rebuilt from the ground up for a 2013 release as Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn. After the events of the 2010 iteration's conclusion, where the primal dragon Bahamut brings calamity to the land of Eorza, the player survives and is sent into the future by five years in a world that has begun to rebuild, but now thrust into the middle of a war from the Garlean Empire. As a consistently expanding world with an ever-scaling storyline, Final Fantasy XIV's narrative grows with each expansion, with the core experience still surrounding working with other players and NPCs as they level and customize their characters, engage in real-time events, and coordinate teams to enter massive dungeons to face raid bosses. The game is available to play with people of several nations and has a massive translatable vocabulary for players to be able to work with one another despite language barriers. The most recent expansion pack, Endwalker, was released in December of 2021 and follows the trend of each title releasing roughly every two years. Final Fantasy XIV is available as a free-to-play title up to level 60, where the game then transitions to a subscription model. The game is playable on Microsoft Windows, macOS, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5, as the PlayStation 3 version was shuttered in 2017.
