Warning: Contains SPOILERS for Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade.

The trophy list for Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade has been released online, and it has revealed the identity of a new secret boss that has been added to the game. The Final Fantasy series is known for its incredibly difficult post-story bosses, with the most famous being Emerald and Ruby Weapon from Final Fantasy 7

FF7 Remake had a lot of potential for secret bosses, as there is the entire Compilation of FF7 that can be mined for enemies. The developers could have unleashed Jade Weapon from Before Crisis, Minerva from Crisis Core, or the Tsviets from Dirge of Cerberus onto Cloud and his friends. The game dropped the ball, as the only secret bosses were Bahamut and a new enemy called Pride and Joy, which was a robot that was battled in the Shinra Combat Simulator.

FF7 Remake Intergrade is the upcoming upgraded version of the game for PS5. The game will be adding two DLC chapters starring Yuffie, which run alongside the main game. There will also be new content added to the main storyline, as it has been confirmed that Cloud can fight Weiss the Immaculate in Intergrade. The trophy list for Intergrade has been released online and it can be found on True TrophiesIntergrade is adding 9 trophies to the game and one of them has revealed the identity of a new secret boss.

According to the trophy list, there is a new version of Pride and Joy that can be battled in Intergrade. There is a trophy called "Ultimate Weapon 2.0", which is granted for defeating a creature called Pride and Joy Mk 0.5. It's unclear whether this is battled by Yuffie and Sonon during their chapters, or whether this is something that can be battled in the main game.

The addition of another version of an existing secret boss is a bit disappointing, but it could very well look and play a lot different than the original. The fact that Weiss from Dirge of Cerberus is also coming to Intergrade as an optional boss is still a huge addition to the game. It's possible that the developers just wanted a tougher version of Pride and Joy in the game, as many players consider it to be weaker than Bahamut.
