Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade is now available on PC, and it comes with all of the DLC that was released for the PlayStation versions of the game. Unfortunately, the PC version of FF7 Remake changes how the DLC items are acquired, and the player will have to manually search for them, as they won't be unlocked automatically. In addition, the process to unlock the DLC in FF7 Remake Intergrade on the Epic Game Store is a bit different and doesn't work the same way for other games on Steam.

The PC version of FF7 Remake is based on the Intergrade version of the game that was released for the PlayStation 5. This means that it includes all of the DLC, including the three pre-order summons (Chocobo Chick, Carbuncle, and Cactuar), the three pieces of armor (Midgar Bangle, Shinra Bangle, and Corneo Armlet), and the three accessories (Superstar Belt, Mako Crystal, and Seraphic Earrings). In addition, the game comes with the INTERmission DLC, which can be selected from the main menu. INTERmission adds two new chapters starring Yuffie as she seeks out the members of Avalanche in Midgar. The game's PC version also includes the Cacstar weapon for Yuffie, which was originally a pre-order bonus for Intergrade.

The PS5 version of Intergrade had the INTERmission DLC baked in, but the player needed to manually download the other pieces of content by tracking them down on PSN. The PC version of FF7 Remake is on the Epic Games Store, which means the developers had to come up with a new method for distributing the DLC to players. This is all done in-game and doesn't require any messing about with the Epic Games Store.

Claiming The DLC In Final Fantasy 7 Remake Intergrade on PC

The player needs to start the game and create a save file to use the DLC, as it cannot be done on the main menu. Once they can access the menu for the first time, they need to select "System" and then "Gift Box." This will bring up a list of the DLC items, and selecting them will add to the player's inventory. It bears mentioning that this needs to be done separately on both the save file for FF7 Remake and on INTERmission, as there is no cross-progression between the two.

Once unlocked, the player can equip the armor and accessories straight away and the Cacstar weapon for Yuffie in INTERmission. The summon Materia will appear in the player's inventory, but it cannot be equipped until Chapter 2 in FF7 Remake. The three DLC summons will work straight away in Yuffie's campaign, so long as they are equipped with her gear.
