To celebrate the birthday of beloved Final Fantasy 7 character, Tifa, one passionate Animal Crossing: New Horizons player has created a charming video capturing the character amongst her favorite spots in the city of Midgar. Final Fantasy 7's memorable locations and characters are just part of why both the original game and the 2020 remake remain adored by so many.

Animal Crossing: New Horizons also released in 2020, and its vast catalog of in-game items and design options have made it a popular way for dedicated fans to recreate works from their favorite TV shows, movies, and even other games. While many are unhappy with a recent lack of new content, there are still plenty of players who keenly show off their impressive builds and designs. There have been countless video game recreations made in Animal Crossing thanks to its unique items and terraforming mechanics, which have seen users' ACNH builds of games like Zelda go viral across the internet.

Twitter user namico_X has celebrated the birthday of Final Fantasy 7's Tifa with an impressive recreation of some of the game's most famous scenes, all remade in Animal Crossing (via Game Rant). Despite a large multitude of Animal Crossing and pop culture island collaborations, there is certainly a unique amount of care and structure that has gone into namico_X's design, which includes Tifa's Theme gently playing over the video, along with recreations of Tifa's Seventh Heaven bar and the famous water tower scene with Cloud. Their video displays not only a house and island, but also uses smaller details such as Tifa holding a lily. The creator has even used the game's nighttime element to capture Tifa wistfully gazing up at the shooting stars, an event that's fairly rare in ACNH.

As players patiently wait for the release of the next chapter of Final Fantasy 7 Remake, many creative fans have been redesigning their own versions of characters like Tifa and Cloud. As well as namico_X's Animal Crossing recreation, modders have found their own ways to mix up the gameplay of FF7, offering new ways for players to experience the core game with new outfits and weapons for characters including Aerith. While it's not clear when more news on FF7 Remake 2 will be revealed, the dedicated community of fans is keeping itself busy with their own take on the game and its heroes.

namico_X's design and video are not only a showcase of their talents and passions, but a celebration of the creativity behind both Animal Crossing and Final Fantasy 7. Although the games are drastically different from each other, design and mashups such as this are proof of the ability of players to enjoy and love different types of games. Although Nintendo has announced Animal Crossing: New Horizons won't receive new updates, fans will continue to explore their creativity and produce more content like this video.
