Fear The Walking Dead season four will see the return of Luciana Galvez, the actress that plays her has confirmed. Luciana debuted in the zombie apocalypse during FTWD's second season as the right-hand woman of a community that took Nick Clark in when he was alone and dying of dehydration. The duo eventually struck up a budding romance but later led their people into a trap set by the unhinged Troy Otto and his armed militia. While Nick and his family eventually opted to live alongside Troy and his community, Luciana refused to co-exist with the dangerous group and walked away from Nick, supposedly heading to meet with an old friend living in Mexicali. The fiery young woman hasn't been seen since, save for a dream sequence.

Fear The Walking Dead's fourth season is already shaping up to be an action-packed affair with faces old and new joining in the post-apocalyptic fun. Most significantly, season 4 will feature a crossover with parent series The Walking Dead, with Lennie James' Morgan Jones joining the cast. Other new names include Maggie Grace (Lost, Taken), Garret Dillahunt (The Gifted) and Jenna Elfman. Central characters Nick, Madison, Alicia and Victor have all been confirmed as returning despite the season 3 finale's ambiguous conclusion.

Another name can now be added to that ever-growing list in the form of Danay Garcia's Luciana. In a post on her Instagram account, Garcia is seen wearing a Fear The Walking Dead branded hat and if that wasn't enough of a giveaway, the photo comes with the caption "To those of you who keep asking...let me just make it official!" Garcia goes on to remind fans that FTWD will return on April 15th.

Garcia's announcement perhaps shouldn't come as a huge surprise considering the abrupt and unresolved nature of her season 3 exit. Fear The Walking Dead also has a track record of bringing back characters previously thought departed or deceased, including Daniel Salazar - who returned despite being in the center of a huge, raging fire - and his daughter Ofelia who viewers re-discovered as part of a group of Native American survivors. As with The Walking Dead, it's wise not to write any character off completely unless you've seen them die explicitly on-screen.

Perhaps the biggest question surrounding Luciana's return is whether or not she will rekindle her relationship with Nick. There could be bad blood between the two following her middle-of-the-night departure. Given everything that happened at Otto Ranch in season 3, Luciana has every right to feel that her mistrust was justified and Nick might have a bit of making up to do if he wants the duo to resume their romance.
