Netflix's new trilogy of horror concludes with Fear Street Part 3: 1666 and here's a guide to the cast of new and returning characters. Directed and co-written by Leigh Janiak, the installments bring R.L. Stine's popular Fear Street novels to the screen. Released weekly, the Netflix saga tells a single cross-generational story across three chapters that comprise a different genre of horror. As a result, not only does it blur the lines between movie and television but the Fear Street trilogy starts a new trend of young adult horror adaptations.

Released on July 2, 2021, the brutal action kicks off with Fear Street Part 1: 1994. Homaging a range of classic 90s teen slasher movies, the movie follows a group of teens as they incur the wrath of an ancient evil. Having maintained a curse on Shadyside, Ohio for over 300 years, that evil dispatches a variety of killers from the town's dark history. Those include the newly-undead form of the Skull Mask Killer and the ax-wielding Nightwing Killer. Though several lose their lives in increasingly brutal ways, a trio survives the harrowing night and makes it to the shocking ending of Fear Street Part 1: 1994 — only for the curse to take a new form.

Picking up where things left off, Fear Street Part 2: 1978 dropped on July 9, 2021. As Deena and Josh seek to restore Sam, they meet with the reclusive C. Berman. They learn from her the details of what happened at Camp Nightwing in 1978. Equally depicted in an extended flashback, teens are similarly hunted by newly-relentless killers. In the process, the tale reveals a way to potentially end the curse once and for all. As per the nursery rhyme, Deena reunites the bones of Sarah Fier with her long-lost hand. Rather than put demons to rest, however, the ending of Fear Street Part 2: 1978 sees Deena cast (á la Quantum Leap) back to 1666 and dropped into Sarah Fier's body. With the time period further peppered with familiar Fear Street faces, the origins of the Shadyside Curse are set to be revealed. Here's a breakdown of Fear Street Part 3: 1666's cast and the (in some cases dual) roles that they play.
