Before hosting FBoy Island, Nikki Glaser was already making the rounds as an actress, comedian, podcast host, and television host. If she seems at all familiar to viewers of the show, they might have seen her in minor roles in Trainwreck, I Feel Pretty, Inside Amy Schumer, and more. Nikki has also filmed three Netflix specials. She is currently on tour.

To say that Nikki has made an excellent impression on FBoy Island would be an understatement. The host is a complete natural, thanks to the wit and balance she brings to the show. No one is surprised that FBoy Island is getting her more and more attention.

The comedian/actress was born on June 1, 1984, in Cincinnati, Ohio. Nikki's full birth name is Nicole Rene Glaser and she started her standup career at the age of 18. She did an interview with Revue where she said that much of her career started early on in college. She remarked: "I was a freshman in college and everyone in my dorm took over the cafeteria as like a study hall. I went in there and instead of studying I just looked at them, judged them and tried to think, “What would Sarah Silverman say about these people?” I didn’t know how to write jokes — I just knew the stand-ups I knew. I wrote from the perspective of my favorite stand-ups because I didn’t know what my perspective was yet."

Nikki currently has over 700k followers on Instagram, where she shares details about her time on FBoy Island and information about her tour. When it comes to her online presence, one of her most notable moments was her appearance on the Conan O'Brien Show, where she made a rather amusing comparison between her private things and her private parts.

Nikki easily found her niche in the comedy world, as she's stated before in other interviews. While she does proudly share that FBoy Island is one of the best things on her IMDb page, she isn't leaving comedy (including standup) anytime soon. "It was just what I had to do. I was lucky finding it early on," Nikki said, after being asked if being a comedian ever felt like work.

Nikki was determined. She continued: "There was no other plan. The other plan was to kill myself. I didn’t want to be a mom, I didn’t want to be a teacher, I didn’t want to work in an office. I was really depressed at that time in my life, actually. I thought, “Oh, one day I will kill myself because I just don’t know what to do.” So, as dark as that seems, that’s the darkness that led me into standup and having the point of view I have — which is pretty dark sometimes." Thankfully, the actress is also very much welcomed by HBO and the FBoy Island cast!
