Fast traveling is a must in any modern RPG. The same is true for Outriders. However, the question players are asking is, 'How do you fast travel in Outriders?' After a rocky launch plagued by server errors and sign-in screen glitches, publishers at Square Enix have made strides in fixing the problems. The game is experiencing regular periods of stability, and devs have been transparent about the issues. Players are now exploring the vast world of Outriders and fast-traveling all around it.

No matter the game, players will need to be warping all over the map to complete quests and sell their wares. As maps grow in size, the need for fast travel grows with it. Players remember how big Skyrim felt when it hit the shelves in 2012. Imagine if the Dragonborn couldn't fast travel between Dragons Reach and Windhelm as they ran messages back and forth? Now, games like Assassin's Creed: Valhalla and Outriders feature maps and play areas far larger. The question, again, begs to ask, 'How do you fast travel in Outriders?' Here's everything you need to know.

Outriders: How to Fast Travel

As players venture deeper into Enoch, they stray further and further away from where they started the game in Rift Town. They'll enter into large areas with connecting paths full of insurgents and creatures to eviscerate with their altered skills. They'll collect antiques from Earth and complete quests along the way. Of course, they'll need to return to home-base or the quest giver to receive rewards. Nobody wants to walk that distance. Thankfully, there is a way to fast travel.

Within a play area, players will be planting flags at various checkpoints. Resupply chests and safe areas often accompany these flags. As players plant flags, they can fast travel between them and the main camp in each area. The camp is where Jakub decides to park the truck and set up shop. However, the flags limit players to the area they're in, and only ones that have been planted can be traveled between. This means players will have to do some exploring before they can warp around the area.

Thankfully, upon completing a given quest, players will have the option to fast travel back to camp or the quest giver at the end location. They will not need a flag.

On a larger scale, players can fast travel between play areas by interacting with Jakub at their truck. This will allow them to re-explore areas they've been to previously if new quests have become available. They can also head back to Rift Town to sell their gear, purchase new items and trade in antiques.

Outriders features four elemental classes for players to choose from. Outriders is meant to be played cooperatively, but players can still venture out into Enoch on their own. Build the most lethal Outrider and warp all over this new planet they call home.
