There are two things that Dominic Toretto and his 'family' love the most: cars and money. When you chase money, you'll meet plenty of people who have it and that's why Dom's crew keeps bumping into villains with deep pockets. But not every baddie that the 'family' has faced off with has a high net-worth or income.

Some of the villains might have declared bankruptcy if they were kept around until Fast & Furious 15. Others might have kept on adding to their wealth like Jeff Bezos and Elon Musk. So, let's judge the villains based on their riches. Of the 9 major villains, here's a ranking of who is comfortable and who is evil but probably broke.

Deckard Shaw (Furious 7)

Deckard Shaw in Furious 7

Deckard Shaw might be a good guy now but he started out as a menacing antagonist. He is a former MI6 agent. Good for him, but judging from other movie spies, the job is only attractive because of the allowances and VIP access to galas. The salary isn't that great. No wonder Deckard Shaw is quick to switch careers.

Apart from the expensive cars which he drives, Deckard doesn't have much in terms of possessions. Given his history, it's likely that the cars are stolen rather than bought.

Brixton Lore (Hobbs & Shaw)

Brixton Lore mocks the protagonists while in captivity in Hobbs Vs Shaw

The Black Superman, as he prefers to call himself, isn't much of a money guy. He is more focused on causing mayhem and fulfilling the wishes of the terrorist organization, Eteon. Like Thanos, his goal is to eliminate half of the world's population.

Brixton previously served in the MI6 with Deckard Shaw. Since that's a cool job that doesn't pay well, he definitely didn't save much from it. In the spin-off, he has a bunch of men that he commands but it can assume that this is one of the perks of working for Eteon. Brixton's bank balance is likely worrisome but he probably doesn't care.

Takashi (Tokyo Drift)

Takashi in Tokyo Drift

Takashi is a rather forgettable villain. His single accomplishment (broadsiding and killing Han) was taken away from him when the franchise retconned the events of Tokyo Drift and revealed that it was Deckard Shaw who committed the crime. There seems to be another twist recently as the Fast 9 trailer implied Han is still alive.

Takashi doesn't have much wealth that he has created on his own. However, his uncle, who is a member of the Japanese mob (the Yakuza), provides a luxurious lifestyle for him. He has bodyguards to protect him and plenty of money to party. He might be comfortable but not that rich.

Johnny Tran (The Fast & The Furious)

Tran is from an affluent Orange County family hence he doesn't start from scratch when he decides to engage in his own business ventures. Despite being provided with everything he could ever ask for since his childhood days, he ventures into crime and forms the biggest gang in Little Saigon.

His gang deals in counterfeit electronics and components of supercars, so the revenue must be high. Tran is also in possession of several supercars, motorcycles, and firearms.

Owen Shaw (Fast & Furious 6)

Owen Shaw in The Fate Of The Furious

Owen is more likely to pay for his mother's expenses than his brother Deckard. Before becoming a criminal, he serves as a high-ranking soldier (Major) in the Special Air Service. The higher the rank, the juicier the remuneration.

Owen also has an army of criminals at his disposal. Given how loyal they are to him, it's logical to assume that he pays them very well. He is said to have orchestrated several heists across Europe, thus putting himself on the radar of the world's biggest intelligence agencies. The multiple heists translate to high income too.

Arturo Braga (Fast & Furious)

Braga has Owen Shaw to thank for his wealth. Initially, he only operates within Mexico but Owen teaches him to look at the bigger picture and expand his business empire. He thus begins trafficking heroin into the United States using tunnels.

His cartel grows to a point where Braga becomes the most powerful trafficker in Los Angeles. According to the Washington Post, the average Mexican cartel rakes in about $6 billion dollars annually. After paying all his partners and employees, Arturo Braga remains with a tidy sum

Carter Verone (2 Fast 2 Furious)

Carter Verone doesn't have much going in terms of personality but he has plenty of money to mask his other weaknesses. Born in Argentina, Carter establishes himself as the richest drug lord in Miami.

He owns a multi-acre estate, a yacht, and a trailer park. He also owns a private jet that he intends to use to flee the city after laundering all his money. For his protection, Verone has hired a large army of thugs. The fact that he is also able to employ the two best drivers in the city means money isn't something he stresses about.

Hernan Reyes (Fast Five)

Hernan Reyes is a drug lord who is in control of the entire city of Rio. He is perhaps the most formidable male villain in the entire franchise. This is because he is portrayed by Joaquim de Almeida, an actor who has made a career out of playing villains.

The entire Rio police force is on his payroll. He even keeps a vault full of money inside a police station. Before they try to steal from him, Reyes hires Dom and his crew to get a chip with maps to all his safe houses where he has lept $100 million. That's a lot of liquid cash to have. He also has too much money that he doesn't care about the supercars the DEA has seized.

Cipher (The Fate Of The Furious)

As the boss of a good number of villains in the franchise, Charlize Thron's Cipher gets her cut from hundreds of illegal business dealings. She is so good at what she does that the authorities think she is an organization and not a person.

An expert hacker, Cipher owns rare and expensive tech gadgets. She also has her own private plane among other possessions. Cipher's unique hacking skills means she can steal money electronically at will. No wonder her focus isn't getting money causing a nuclear war and destabilizing governments.
