Dom was right when he said that family can overcome any obstacle, but the family has never been pit against one another in a deadly battle royale before. It wouldn’t take long for the Fast and Furious characters to turn on each other if they were thrown in to the arena of The Hunger Games.

As the street racing series has turned into an action franchise featuring a team of experts with their own specific skills, they’d all bring something different to the arena, whether it’s Brian’s calm nerves under pressure or Han’s seeming inability to ever die. And as the Hunger Games series is one of the franchises fans wish Fast & Furious crossed over with, it’d probably be the most unpredictable Hunger Games there‘d ever be.

Mia

Mia sits on Brian’s lap in Fast and Furious

Given that Mia’s most iconic moment in the series is making Brian a tuna sandwich, there are likely very few skills she can bring with her into the Hunger Games arena. Without her brother Dom watching over her or Brian protecting her from the others, Mia is somewhat defenseless.

She was never one to show off much in the way of fighting skills in the series, though that changed in F9 when she and Letty took on various goons together. Still, she is far less accomplished than most in that area.

Cipher

Cipher talks to Jakob in F9

Cipher is the smartest villain of the series, as she is the only antagonist to be the primary villain for not just one, but two movies. She is a force to be reckoned with, is great at manipulating people, and has billions of dollars of tech at her disposal.

However, if it wasn’t for that very tech, Cipher would be almost powerless. Cipher relies on that tech too much, and her powers of manipulation aren’t going to work in an arena where everybody is looking out for themselves.

Sean

Seand and Takashi confront each other in Fast and Furious Tokyo Drift

Just like Mia, though he’s a main character, Sean won’t last long in the Hunger Games. He isn’t the sharpest character, and though he keeps getting passed from school to school for fighting and getting into trouble, Sean almost always comes out battered and bruised.

Sean has no experience with weapons, and he rarely takes any situation seriously, which means that he’d be picked off pretty quickly. Though he does have a commitment to learning, as he goes from a useless drag racer to the Drift King, it’d be too late in the arena with savages like Hobbs and Dom on the loose.

Rome

Rome laughs at his opponent before a race in 2 Fast 2 Furious

Rome might act all tough, especially when he was first introduced in 2 Fast 2 Furious, as he started a fight with Brian as soon as they reunited, but deep down he’s actually a scaredy cat. If it wasn’t for Tej mollycoddling him at any given time, chances are Rome wouldn’t even leave his room.

There are so many examples of him almost backing out of the team’s objectives, such as when they parachuted out of the plane in their cars in Furious 7. The only way Rome would fair well in the Hunger Games is if it was in hand-to-hand combat, and even then, he’s far from the best character at fighting.

Tej

Fast and Furious 9 Tej and Roman in space car

Over the course of just a couple of movies, Tej somehow went from a garage mechanic skimming money off the top of illegal street races to a technical wizard who can hack in to secret government computers. It doesn’t make any sense, but not much in the series does.

Those technical skills wouldn’t serve him well in The Hunger Games, but anybody who is technically proficient generally tends to be good at crafting tools with raw materials too. So Tej is an underdog who could actually stand a good chance.

Han

Han teaches Sean how to drift in Fast and Furious: Tokyo Drift

Han hasn’t particularly shown any specific skills in the series, as he’s mostly been seen eating chips and leaning against his car. However, Han simply refuses to die, as he was killed off midway through Tokyo Drift, and it was even somewhat retconned in Fast & Furious 6, showing that it was Shaw who actually killed him.

But he has returned yet again, which has ignited the Twitter hashtag #JusticeForHan. He is as close to invincible as it gets. And with the release of F9, the character now has some advanced sniper skills that no other character could compete with.

Letty

Letty hangs on to Dom’s car in Fast and Furious

When Letty died in Fast and Furious, it wasn’t one of her finest hours, but there was no point in shedding tears, as she didn’t stay dead for long. Her ability to literally come back from near-death and then continue to leap off cliffs, make impossible stunt jumps, and fall out of four-story buildings using enemies to soften her landing shows just how strong she is.

And given that she has such a strong backbone and can fearlessly stand up to anybody, it makes her chances for survival much higher.

Hobbs

Dom fights Hobbs in Fast Five

Though a select few think Fast and Furious would be better without the Rock, when Hobbs was introduced in Fast Five, it breathed new life in to the series and gave Dom a worthy nemesis. Though Hobbs looks like he could strangle anybody to death, the Hunger Games doesn’t just require brawn, but brains too, and the character has been outwitted on several occasions.

In Fast Five, he was always a few steps behind Dom and Brian, and though he’s a great leader of the Diplomatic Security Service, he isn’t the brightest.

Brian

Brian and Rome fight on the floor in 2 fast 2 furious

Brian is able to talk his way out of situations, and more than any other character in the series, he finds himself in situations where he needs to make snap decisions and has to handle problems under pressure.

His skills of talking his way out of situations and uncovering the truth when he was an FBI agent can easily be applied to when he’s in the arena, as he’d quickly be able to smoke out the characters who are hiding. And given his training with the FBI, there are few other characters who are able to handle weapons as well as he is.

Dom

Som squares up to Shaw in Fast & Furious 6

One of the biggest questions fans have about the series is who would win in a fight between Dom and Hobbs, as both of Vin Diesel's and Dwayne Johnson’s contracts state that neither of them can lose a fight. So though that little clause might be a hindrance if they were to enter the Hunger Games arena, it’d be a joy to watch.

However, no amount of oil spilled over Hobbs’ biceps will keep Dom from tearing him apart. Ever since the very first movie when he smashed in a man’s head with a wrench, audiences have been told about how brutal he is, and if he’s angry, nobody wants to stand in Dom’s way.
