New Fast and Furious 9 Funko Pops are unveiled during the inaugural Funko Fair. For several years, Funko has produced collectible figures for all corners of pop culture, including movies, TV, video games, and even music. As one of the biggest film franchises currently going, Fast and Furious is ripe to receive the Funko treatment. There have already been a number of figures from the movies made, and with F9 on the way, Funko has taken the opportunity to add to their line.
Released as an exclusive to Screen Rant, Funko shared their new Dominic Toretto and Jakob Toretto figures. The items are available for preorder by clicking on the links. Check out images of the two in the space below:
F9 was supposed to premiere last year, but its release day was delayed to May 2021 due to the coronavirus pandemic. The idea is for these Funko figures to tie into the film's debut, but it remains to be seen if the movie will get pushed back again. With the COVID-19 vaccine rollout going slower than expected and new cases continuing to surge around the world, many 2021 films have already been delayed once more. More postponements are expected, including F9. If it's delayed, it'll be interesting to see if that affects the merchandise release. Regardless, fans know they can add new Dom and Jakob figures to their collections soon.
F9's synopsis reads as follows: Cypher enlists the help of Jakob, Dom's younger brother to take revenge on Dom and his team.
