New 'Fast & Furious 6' Poster Reunites the Crew

Fast & Furious 6 Posters Trailers Clips

By the sixth installment, most film franchises tend to run out of gas - if not well before - but after Fast Five helped reinvigorate the series, moviegoers have begun to buckle up for another ride with Dom and the crew in Fast & Furious 6.

With the film's premiere less than two months away, Universal is ramping up the marketing campaign, which picked up steam back in February when we got a first look at the high-octane Fast and Furious 6 Super Bowl Trailer. That clip - which featured tanks, exploding planes and plenty of high-speed chases - certainly got old fans revved up, while winning over some new ones as well.

This week, Universal has unveiled its one-sheet poster for the film, which puts most of the main cast - including Vin Diesel, Paul Walker, Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson and Jordana Brewster - on display. The new poster is a stark contrast from the poster we first saw a few months ago, which featured a lone Dom and his speed machine. However, this poster does include the same tagline: All Roads Lead to This, which seems to hint that the sixth movie could be the end. Of course, we are well aware that Fast and Furious 7 is already the works.

Take a look at the new poster:

This one-sheet symbolizes what the upcoming installment's story aims to do; bring the main characters back together again to take on a dangerous enemy who is aided by an unexpected foe: Dom's lost love, Letty (Michelle Rodriguez), whom was presumed dead after the franchise's fourth installment, Fast & Furious.

In the upcoming film, Dom is asked by Hobbs (Johnson) to reassemble his team to help take down a ruthless organization of globe-trotting mercenaries led by a criminal mastermind, who is played by Luke Evans (The Three Musketeers). As always, the stakes are high, but this time Dom and his crew are after full pardons, which will allow them to return home to their families.

It certainly looks like the franchise's latest addition is aiming to tie up some loose ends left by its predecessors, and answer some burning questions - namely what happened to Letty and how she ended up on the wrong side. Though those promises may be fulfilled, there's little doubt that the sixth film will still leave the door open for Fast & Furious 7, which is scheduled to begin filming this summer.

Fast & Furious 6 will speed into theatres on May 24, 2013.
