Pinecones are an item that is very easy to track down since they are so common, but most players never have any reason to pick them up. They will basically grow all around the world, but there are a few specific locations that the player can find a lot of them at. Here are the best locations to search:
Stormbearer Mountains - A lot of resources can be found in this area, and pinecones are no different. The player can head up the mountain towards the area where the Anemo Hypostasis boss resides to find an overabundance of pinecones. Trees containing the resources will line the road all the way up.
Wolvendom - In the Wolvendom area the player can find a few pockets of trees that contain pinecones. All they have to do is travel directly north from the winery and keep their eyes peeled for any trees in the immediate area.
Liyue - In the Liyue area, if the player travels to the teleportation waypoint near Qingce village, they will find a nearby bridge that has several pinecones on it.
