After previous delays, Far Cry 6 is finally due to release this fall, and it is already looking set to offer fans of the series a truly explosive caper around the fictional Caribbean islands of Yara. Each gameplay trailer revealed so far has shown off not only the vast new world that players will be able to explore at Far Cry 6’s launch, but also an extensive range of weapons.
Far Cry 6 has become a topic of hot discussion within the gaming community. The presence of Giancarlo Esposito of Breaking Bad and The Mandalorian fame has ensured that every trailer featuring his character has been laced with a sinister charisma. However, as smooth and as vile as Esposito's portrayal of Antón Castillo is, the weapons of Far Cry 6 have caused as much a sensation as the manipulative dictator.
The developers for Far Cry 6 have previously revealed that there will be a grand total of 49 weapons available to players on the game's release. However, not all of these have yet been revealed. Here are the ones that have been shown so far, through various gameplay trailers and cinematic teasers.

There has also been a wide range of homebrew "Resolver weapons" shown throughout all of the Far Cry 6 teasers so far. These weapons are made from bits and pieces found throughout Yara, and have included a gun that fires CDs at unsuspecting victims while playing the “Macarena,” backpacks that act as jetpacks or mobile rocket launchers, and silent-but-lethal bows and arrows.
As the release date for Far Cry 6 inches ever closer, more weapons will likely be shown off again soon. After all, if there really are going to 49 weapons that can be customized throughout the course of the game, fans have only seen a little over half of what Far Cry 6‘s arsenal has to offer.
Far Cry 6 will be available for PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PC, Google Stadia, and Amazon Luna on October 7, 2021.
