The Wingsuit makes its return in Far Cry 6, and players can get it very quickly in the newest addition to the popular Ubisoft series. There's nothing quite like flying through the air, and the Far Cry series now takes the Wingsuit to the island of Yara. The Wingsuit is one of the essential pieces of equipment players can pick up, as it makes traveling to various parts of the island much more accessible.
The Island of Yara is under the dictatorship of Antón Castillo, who rules the island while grooming his son Diego as his successor. Therefore, Yara is full of military installations due to the dictatorship regime. Using the Wingsuit allows players to bypass many of these danger zones traveling from one location to another. Another handy use for the Wingsuit, other than fast traveling, is that players can deploy it from elevated heights after leaping off from them to glide to other locations.
Features that have returned in Far Cry 6, other than the Wingsuit, include the weapon system and liberation of outposts and checkpoints. In addition, the Guns for Hire has changed slightly to animal Amigos helping during battle, and the addition of driving a tank is also new to the game. Far Cry 6 also changed the main characters and how they interact, bringing a new level of interaction not seen previously.
Where To Get the Wingsuit in Far Cry 6
When it comes to the Wingsuit in Far Cry 6, players get it reasonably quickly. As in past games, players would get it in the first few hours of the first act, and Far Cry 6 is no different. After leaving the first island, a blockade in Isla Santuaria needs lifting, which is the first step in getting the Wingsuit. After removing the blockade, players will go to Isla Libertad, where the first camp gets unlocked.
At the camp, players can get many upgrades for their players. First, head to the Construction Desk, where the camp has an upgrade to build called the Hideout Network. To Build the Hideout Network, players need 30 Metal and 30 Gasoline. Once the Network gets built, players will receive the Wingsuit.
A practical option that players might miss is to purchase the drop points, which unlock the various locations on the map that players can then airdrop. The cost for each drop point is a few hundred Yaran Pesos, so make sure to have enough money when unlocking the Wingsuit.
