Unique Weapons in Far Cry 6 are types of guns that cannot be upgraded or changed from their base stats; they are weapons made by the developers with special decals, modifications, and attachments. The Makarov PMM Autocrat is a unique weapon in Far Cry 6 that can be found in Isla Santuario, Quito region, Fort Quito. The operation "Du or Die" can lead players to its location.

There are multiple ways to enter Fort Quito in Far Cry 6 to get the Makarov PMM Autocrat Pistol. One of the quickest ways is through a cave located on the right side wall of Fort Quito. The dock next to the cave will be guarded by a single Pistolero - take him down then swim through the cave. When inside, there will be an enclosed fence area, inside the fence will be a Yaran Contraband Box that will contain the Makarov PMM Autocrat Pistol.

To enter the enclosed fence area, there is a wooden board covering a breach on the right side fence. Use the Melee Action Button to cut open the boards, then crouch underneath to gain access inside the fenced area. If players already have explosives in Far Cry 6, they can place explosives next to the fence to blow up the entirety of the enclosed area to also gain access to the inside. On a shelf will be a Yaran Contraband Box - open the box with the Interaction Button to unlock Far Cry's Autocrat Makarov PMM Pistol.

Makarov PMM Autocrat Pistol Specs In Far Cry 6

Here are the specifications for the Makarov PMM Autocrat Pistol in Far Cry 6:

  • "Quickdraw, short - to mid-range, rewards precise handling"
  • 8 Round Magazine Size
  • 500 RPM (Rounds Per Minute)
  • Attachments: Armor-Piercing Rounds - rounds that hold straight lines, penetrate helmets, and body armor.
  • Modification: Trigger Discipline - improves aimed weapon damage.
  • Modification: Gut-Wrencher - improves body shot weapon damage.

The Makarov PMM Autocrat has Armor-Piercing Rounds and is a semi-automatic or single-firing pistol in Far Cry 6. With Armor-Piercing Rounds, the pistol will 1-shot every Yaran Soldier enemy type when landing a headshot, making it extremely useful at close-to-medium range. With the added semi-automatic firing mode, the Autocrat's recoil can be controlled for precise and accurate shots to try at longer ranges.

Where the Autocrat suffers is the ADS (Aim Down Sights) and the magazine size. The ADS for Far Cry 6's  Makarov PMM Autocrat is small and difficult to use. If players wanted to hit a Yaran Sniper, they would have to move in close or take a guess shot. Also, with the magazine size being smaller compared to other upgradable pistols in Far Cry 6, players will have to make sure to land their shots or be prepared to reload often - although doing this before the magazine is empty speeds up reload times. Overall, the Makarov PMM Autocrat Pistol is an 8/10 Unique Weapon; very good for beginner players and players with precise handling.
