Publisher Ubisoft has shared the Season Pass roadmap for Far Cry 6's DLC, detailing when players can expect the villain episodes for Vaas, Joseph, and Pagan to release. Ubisoft announced Far Cry 6's Season Pass during E3 2021, revealing that previous villains would become playable across three different episodes of post-launch content drops.

Vaas Montenegro from Far Cry 3 serves as one of the three big bads scheduled to feature in the Season Pass. Though his arc in the third entry didn't last very long, Vaas remains a fan-favorite part of the first-person shooter franchise. Pagan Min of Far Cry 4 fame will take center stage in the second episode. His eccentricities are sure to play a factor in the quality of the overall experience. Far Cry 5's main antagonist, Joseph Seed, will star in the third and final villain-focused arc, according to previously announced Season Pass details.

An all-new Season Pass trailer from Ubisoft boasts even more details about what's on the horizon in terms of post-launch content releases. "Insanity," the first DLC episode starring villain Vaas Montenegro, is scheduled to launch in November of this year. Episode two, "Pagan: Control," should arrive in January 2022. Finally, the Joseph Seed episode, "Collapse," touches down in March 2022. Season Pass holders will additionally gain access to the Far Cry 3 Blood Dragon remaster, along with The Blood Dragon Set. The latter contains six usable items for Far Cry 6's campaign: Blood Dragon Gear Set, AJM9 and Kobracon weapons, Omega Enforcer vehicle, KillStar weapon charm, and Blood Dragon vehicle chibi. Taking cues from Assassin's Creed's live service-like model, Far Cry 6 will regularly receive free updates packed with new content.

As is often the case with Ubisoft titles, the Season Pass will come packaged with the Ultimate and Collector's Editions. Alternatively, players interested in the extra content offerings can grab the Season Pass separately for $39.99.

Far Cry 6 marks the sixth mainline entry in the series, which will once more take players to a tropical location. This time, fans can expect to explore the fictional island of Yara, a Cuba analog that seems lost in time. In assuming the role of Dani Rojas, users will work with rebels to wrest control of the nation from dictator Antón Castillo.
