Ubisoft's upcoming Far Cry 6 is poised to be the biggest entry in the series so far, offering a larger map, a host of new content and features, as well as some serious star power, including some of Breaking Bad's memorable cast. The game of course features iconic bad guy actor Giancarlo Esposito as the game's ruthless and powerful antagonist, but he isn't the only actor seen from Breaking Bad to appear in the game. While they might not interact on-screen during the events of Far Cry 6, there are not one but two actors that players will get to see in-game who made notable appearances in the show.

Ruling the fictional nation of Yara, Far Cry 6's antagonist "El Presidente" Antón Castillo holds all the power. Players will take on the role of Dani, on a mission to fight for freedom from Castillo's iron grip over the island country. Far Cry 6 can be played as either a male or female version of Dani, featuring a number of animal companions to help players in the field, and introduces the Supremo, a backpack that can be modified to perform all manner of helpful guerilla tactics like missile volleys or EMP bursts.

Fans have known about the inclusion of Giancarlo Esposito as Antón Castillo for some time now, but as it turns out, there will be two more actors actors from Breaking Bad that will appear in Ubisoft's latest opus of open-world carnage, leading to an interesting reunion of sorts for Breaking Bad fans.

Far Cry 6 Features Three Actors From Breaking Bad

Far Cry 6 may feature a breaking bad reunion

The Far Cry games have had progressively more outlandish DLC content as the series continues. Far Cry 5 even had players travel to Mars as a cheeky tie-in to a curious side mission which had nothing to do with the game's core narrative. Ubisoft has announced Far Cry 6 DLC as the game approaches its October launch, including a mission featuring Danny Trejo. The tough-guy actor will be teaming up with Dani in a mission called Danny and Dani vs Everybody, as the player helps Danny Trejo deliver tacos across Yara.

Trejo appeared in two episodes of Breaking Bad as Tortuga, a Cartel drug runner who was working as an informant for the DEA. This brief but memorable portrayal was a key part of the show's narrative, but Trejo and Esposito unfortunately never shared a scene together. In a similar connection, Far Cry 6's Season Pass will feature missions in which players will experience the backstories of some of the series' iconic villains, meaning the return of fan-favorite psychopath Vaas Montenegro, the antagonist of Far Cry 3 played by Michael Mando.

While not appearing directly in Breaking Bad, Mando appears in 63 episodes of the show's prequel, Better Call Saul, as Ignacio "Nacho" Varga. Mentioned in a one-off line by Saul Goodman in season 2 of Breaking Bad, fans wouldn't see Nacho until his portrayal in Better Call Saul where he appears as an associate of Tuco Salamanca. Nacho goes on to orchestrate Hector Salamanca's stroke and is later blackmailed by Gustavo (Esposito) into working against the Salamanca family.

It's unlikely that either Danny Trejo or Vaas Montenegro will come face to face with Antón Castillo during the Far Cry 6 campaign, as they will be relegated to DLC content. All three actors have given incredible performances in the world of Breaking Bad, and having them all in one place again will no doubt reinvigorate nostalgia for the iconic series and remind players of the gritty, serious tone of the show while exploring the devastated reality of Yara.
