Micah Plath has won many Welcome to Plathville fans over with his personality, but an Instagram post has some fans complaining that he tries too hard. Micah has changed a lot since moving to Los Angeles to pursue his modeling career, but he has been sure to go back to his roots by visiting his large family often. Since setting out on his own, Micah is more confident than ever, but some fans think that he has taken it too far.
On Welcome to Plathville, Micah went from spending his days out in the fields of rural Georgia to becoming a model in one of the largest cities in the U.S., and the change happened over a couple of years. He has been the glue holding his family together, as he is close with his older brother, Ethan Plath, and sometimes serves as a mediator between Ethan and his parents. Micah is also close to younger sister, Moriah Plath, and recently helped her through her first breakup with Max Kallschmidt. Despite his difficult upbringing, Micah is often thought to be the most well-adjusted Plath child, as he has adapted to the outside world quite easily.
Micah is known for his smoldering and shirtless photoshoots, which Welcome to Plathville fans love, but he also has a less serious side, especially when he is with his siblings. Moriah already visited Micah in Los Angeles, when she needed to get away from all of her relationship drama. She met his friends and stayed with one of his friends. Micah revealed that he has been essentially couch-surfing in LA, but his Instagram posts with younger brother Isaac Plath imply that he has been doing well for himself.
When Micah wanted to show Isaac around the new city in style, he rented a Lamborghini Huracan. For reference, those types of cars cost hundreds of thousands of dollars, so it is safe to assume that the rental also had a hefty price tag. Welcome to Plathville fans were not as impressed by the Lamborghini as Isaac was, with one saying, "OMG! Please stop try[ing] to impress your little bro! You're trying way too hard to look cool!" Another person said, "Stop showing off. It's not cool." Fans have also been turned off by Micah's attitude in the past, saying that he can come off as condescending towards his siblings (especially Ethan), who is still learning to adjust to city life.
Other Welcome to Plathville fans were happy to see the brothers back together, since they live on opposite sides of the country, and do not get to see each other often. Another commenter said "You guys are totally going Hollywood and I'm here for it." Micah seems to be thriving in his new environment, as he has gained confidence around women, and sharpened his modeling skills. Fans are already calling for Welcome to Plathville spin-offs that show some pairing of Plath siblings living in Los Angeles together.
