Although the Welcome to Plathville celeb said that it wasn’t an easy decision, she realized that she needed to put herself first. After all, she'd been making everyone else in her family the main priority for years. Kim explained to Barry that she no longer felt happy, valued, or appreciated in their marriage. Barry was willing to fix it, but Kim just didn't have the motivation to try.
Many Welcome to Plathville fans have speculated that she has been so quick to move on because there is someone else in Kim's life. Her dismissive attitude, plus the fact that she has emotionally checked out, have been red flags to some viewers. The photo was originally shared in a Facebook group on August 13, 2022. This photo added more fuel to the fire, perpetuating the belief that Kim was unfaithful to Barry before deciding to split. Even though there isn't any other information to support this theory at present, most Welcome to Plathville fans don’t doubt that it's true. Kim’s narcissistic behavior and manipulative actions haven't exactly made her a fan favorite on Welcome to Plathville.
