The Family Chantel season 3 is underway, and Chantel Jimeno's younger brother Riverknight Everett will be featuring his love life for the first time this season. Monday night's brand new episode of the 90 Day Fiancé spin-off show saw Riverknight reluctantly admitting to family matriarch Karen Everett that he is seeing someone. However, he said that he wasn't yet ready to introduce her to his family. Following the new episode, Riverknight took to Instagram to introduce his girlfriend Megan to his followers.
Last season The Family Chantel focused heavily on the relationship between Chantel's brother Royal and his now-wife Angenette. Chantel and Karen were particularly unwelcoming to Angenette, who chose to sit this season out along with Royal. Though Chantel still clashes with her husband Pedro Jimeno's family, Pedro no longer has real tension with the Everett family. That means that siblings Winter and Riverknight are the next Everett family members to be grilled about their love lives. The family already dislikes Winter's partner Jah for lying to her, though Riverknight's partner Megan could be accepted by the family. However, the Everett family history shows that it won't be easy to win them over.
Riverknight took to his Instagram, @iamriverknight, to make his girlfriend known to the world. He shared a slideshow of photos featuring himself and his partner Megan while his song "Kentucky Vibes" played. Riverknight wrote the song for his partner and captioned the post with lyrics from the song. "'I hope you see what I see when you look in the mirror'🤞🏽Song: Kentucky Vibes by Riverknight ✈️," he wrote in the caption. "😍😍😍😍 thank you babe. This is so sweet and thoughtful," Megan wrote back. Her Instagram, @mnmonte21, indicates that she is also an aspiring musician as she released her first single "Rodeo" this month.
It appears that Riverknight's fans are appreciating the direction his music is taking. Megan seems to be a good muse for Riverknight, as "Kentucky Vibes" has earned him praise from his followers. "Hold on, that track kinda player 👀," one commenter wrote. Others appeared excited to see the partner of Chantel's younger brother. "Megan is the best! Love her!!" one person wrote. "Get it River ! She's beautiful. Your music is 🔥," another fan congratulated him. "River and Megan are taking over TLC," another commenter praised the duo. Since Megan took promo photos for The Family Chantel season 3, it's likely that she'll soon be appearing on the show.
While Riverknight appears to have plenty of relationship support from The Family Chantel fans and his friends, it might not be as easy to win over his family. It's likely that The Family Chantel season 3 filmed many months ago. Therefore, the fact that Riverknight and Megan are still happily together on Instagram indicates that she was able to survive the wrath of the Everett family. However, Karen and Chantel have proven to be particularly hard to win over, while Winter might also be defensive given her family's dislike of Jah. Fans of the Everett and Jimeno families will have to tune in to new episodes of The Family Chantel season 3 Monday nights on TLC to track the relationship progress between the couples.
