Chantel Jimeno, née Everett, is one of the biggest names in the 90 Day Fiancé franchise, but the star of The Family Chantel has been through her fair share of drama. Chantel initially rose to fame when audiences were treated to her family theatrics surrounding her marriage to Dominican Republic native Pedro Jimeno.
Though Chantel's chaotic and meddling parents eventually came to accept her husband, the reality star and her family have become synonymous with drama. When Chantel misheard a Spanish term Nicole said about her, she exploded at the younger woman and called her a “b*tch-a*s, slut-a*s wh*re.” The insult has since become iconic among franchise fans who were shocked and humored by how angry Chantel got. Messy Video Drama
Chantel is currently in the midst of her latest scandal. The Atlanta beauty saw a girls’ trip to Costa Rica take a turn for the worst when an Instagram Live resulted in a wardrobe malfunction. A fan shared messages from the reality TV star that saw Chantel furiously threatening to sue the fan for allegedly recording and sharing her life if they didn’t delete it. Viewers ended up mocking Chantel for her behavior since the fan did nothing illegal. Chantel’s followers have cautioned her to be careful what she shares online and avoid Lives if she has been drinking, as many viewers thought she appeared intoxicated during the ill-fated stream.
Pandemic Travel Controversy
This wasn’t the first time Chantel’s travels earned her criticism from her followers. Chantel was previously called out for leaving the country in February to celebrate turning 30 with a tropical girls’ trip. Since Chantel claims to be a working nurse, many of her followers thought it was irresponsible for her to leave the country during the height of travel restrictions. Chantel’s travels have caused viewers to question if she is still working as a nurse, as well as how closely she follows health guidelines. Many viewers believe Chantel has now become a full-time reality star and influencer and has left her nursing career behind.
