Chantel Jimeno might be experiencing a difficult time during her divorce from her 90 Day Fiancé husband, Pedro Jimeno, but The Family Chantel star is leaning on her family for support. While Chantel has a celebrated relationship with her fan-favorite younger sister Winter Everett, her younger brother Riverknight Everett has also been a constant source of support for Chantel. After spending some time with Winter, Chantel revealed her close relationship with her brother on social media.
Chantel has a close-knit family that originally interfered with her marriage to Pedro. Her parents, Karen and Thomas Everett, were notoriously suspicious of Pedro's intentions with Chantel. Meanwhile, Riverknight and Pedro even threw fists in what turned into a physical fight between the two feuding families. While Pedro’s family never came to accept Chantel, Chantel’s family embraced Pedro as one of their own. Pedro and Riverknight even struck up a bromance that many franchise fans applauded. However, it is no surprise that Riverknight is standing by his beloved older sister after Pedro filed for divorce from Chantel.
Reality star Chantel took to Instagram to celebrate her relationship with Riverknight in a professional photo of the two Family Chantel siblings dressed in full glam. Chantel captioned the image, “Siblings,” and also shared a number of Instagram Story videos that featured her and Riverknight. While Chantel has been dealing with heartbreak on The Family Chantel, she appeared carefree and happy with her younger brother. The duo joked around and discussed music and slang as they drove in the car together. Though Chantel’s meddling family was a major source of drama early on in her marriage, it is clear from her social media that her siblings are now an enormous source of comfort for her.
Many commenters had praiseworthy words to share about Everett siblings Chantel and Riverknight. Riverknight, who is known to hype up his family members, commented, “Stronger together!” Another fan added in a reference to Pedro’s sister, saying, “I don’t blame Nicole for being jealous of you!” While many of Chantel’s fans had scathing words to direct toward Pedro and his villainous family, they also had kind words for her and her musician brother. “Pedro doesn’t deserve you guys,” one commenter noted. “Love your family. PS you are so much better of [sic] without that man child,” another fan wrote. Overall, many commenters agreed that kindhearted Chantel deserved better than how Pedro treated her before their split.
While Chantel has been shown leaning on her younger siblings during her painful divorce, she also appears to have mended her relationship with her older brother. During The Family Chantel season 2, Chantel and her mother, Karen, had intense animosity with her brother Royal Wylie’s now-wife, Angenette Wylie. However, Chantel shared a recent image of herself playing with the couple’s son. Therefore, it appears that Chantel is turning to all members of her family to help her heal. Meanwhile, she also has the full support of The Family Chantel fans due to her televised maturity and clear desire to save her marriage.
