A set of Brotherhood of Steel power armor from Fallout was recently spotted in the real world by a fan. The post-apocalyptic organization, meant to collect and preserve technology from before the apocalypse, has the distinction of appearing in every game in the Fallout franchise. The use of Fallout power armor has become perhaps the Brotherhood's most defining feature, and now a gamer has unexpectedly encountered one of these powerful suits in an unexpected place.

The Brotherhood of Steel has played a prominent role in every Fallout game, though the organization's goals have changed significantly throughout the post-nuclear RPG saga. In the original Fallout the Brotherhood is practically a religious faction that worships technology, and joining the group can give the player a massive upper hand in the game's final battle. Fallout 3 depicts the group as far more noble and altruistic, meanwhile, with Fallout: New Vegas instead portraying them as much colder and even outright hostile towards outsiders. Fallout 76 includes the Brotherhood of Steel, too, with a quest line forcing players to choose between supporting two rival leaders.

Reddit user TheBigGalactis has shared an amazing statue of Fallout power armor which they recently discovered at an estate sale. The nearly life-size statue, which was presumably used during promotion for Fallout 3, depicts the Brotherhood of Steel's iconic T-51 power armor wielding a laser rifle. The replica was apparently being sold for a whopping $5,000, though its size and potential rarity may well justify this steep price. TheBigGalactis also failed to specify whether the estate sale would accept bottle caps for the beautiful Fallout power armor instead of modern currency.

Real-Life Fallout Power Armor Is Ready For The Apocalypse

While this Fallout 3 statue recreates Brotherhood of Steel power armor with breathtaking detail and scale, the Fallout 76 Power Armor Edition was a Brotherhood of Steel cosplayer's dream. This special edition of the multiplayer title included a number of bonus features, like in-game items and Fallout figurines, but the most impressive inclusion was a full-scale wearable power armor helmet complete with voice modulator and headlamp. This amazing inclusion would be perfect for both cosplay and display, though the Fallout 76 Power Armor Edition was sadly sold out very quickly after becoming available

Power armor has become synonymous with the Fallout series, and particularly with the ever-present Brotherhood of Steel. Donning a suit of the unstoppable high-tech armor lets players thrive within the post-apocalypse, and a massive power armor statue brings this iconic survival tool into real life. While it may not be quite life-size, this Fallout statue should be an essential part of any doomsday prepper's arsenal.
