Races are one of the most beloved game modes in Fall Guys. Rather than relying on teammates to score a goal or push balls around, this mode is entirely dependent on the player’s own platforming skill; and if they’re able to deal with the hordes of bean people pushing them around. As the game continues to receive more updates in the future, the developers at Mediatonic will continue to create new zany obstacles for the fall guys to overcome.

Enter Freezy Peak, a new racecourse added for the third season. In this wintery event, players race uphill to the top of a mountain to cross the finish line. A plethora of new objects block the way and make this sprint one of the more challenging ones. Freezy Peak also occurs towards the end of each show, so only a limited number of contestants can make it to the end. This guide will examine each segment of the race and the best strategy to surpass them.

The First Half of Freezy Peak in Fall Guys

In the beginning, the participants are all lined up in small groups at the bottom of a hill. Directly in front of each group is a different arrangement of obstacles that they’ll have to get past before converging in the center. Most of them are some variation of giant boxing gloves that punch players out the way. Head towards the ones that just recently punched, so when they fully retreat, there will be a safe path available. The gloves all punch on intervals, so planning around this timing will guarantee that fall guys won’t get hit. Next are an assortment of fans that will blow players into launchpads which, as the name implies, will fling them away if they’re stepped on. Running in a straight line will make fall guys more susceptible to the wind, so always run against them. After that, there’s another big fan, this time on the ground, that will propel players into the air so they can reach the next platform; which has several more launchpads on it. Don’t just blindly jump on the air current, but look at where the launchpads are placed to dodge them.

The Second Half of Freezy Peak in Fall Guys

Fall Guys Season 3

After reaching the center, players will ride more air currents to a stairway. It sounds simple, but there's a big problem: giant snowballs rolling into the way. One spawns every few seconds from off in the distance, so players can time their jump into the air current during a safe interval. Players must now run uphill while dodging the snowballs, but now the fists and launchpads return. On the outer side of the track are the rolling snowballs, on the inner sides are the punching fists, and in the middle are the launchpads that send fall guys out of bounds. Falling off will force players to the bottom of the hill and waste a lot of their time, so choose to get hit by the snowball if need be. The fists still punch at timed intervals, so while it’s safer to walk by them after they retreat, it’s not fast. Instead, players should try to maneuver between the launchpads, in a zigzag movement, so that they can dodge all the oncoming chaos.

The last section is relatively easy but potentially treacherous. After running up a spinning wheel, and passing through the gaps in the walls, players will again use an air current to ascend higher. This time, they’ll land on an icy ring that leads to the finish line. The ice is slippery and can cause reckless players to fall off if they’re desperate to win. Upon jumping into the fan’s wind, rotate the camera to the right so the finish line is in sight. It’s easier to land in front of the finish because there’s more room, so positioning oneself ahead of time will make the landing easier.
