The developers of Mediatonic have an infatuation with horrifying costumes made of modified full-body spandex suits, especially when it comes to announcing a new crossover costume coming to Fall Guys. While it hasn't been officially announced by either Mediatonic or House House, players can expect an Untitled Goose Game crossover costume to flap its way into Fall Guys sometime next week.
While Fall Guys' first season was riddled with crossover costume releases, the crossovers that have taken place during season 2 have been accompanied by a lot of hype. That is to say, unfiltered hype in the form of nightmare fuel costumes. The first crossover costume of Fall Guys season 2 was Sonic the Hedgehog, and to celebrate its arrival, team members from SEGA and Mediatonic streamed wearing terrible bootleg Sonic the Hedgehog costumes. Of course, they were made of spandex bodysuits with the eye and mouth holes crudely cut out.
Now, Mediatonic is hyping up another crossover costume release with none other than Untitled Goose Game. The official Fall Guys Twitter posted a teaser video of Meditonic team members wearing their makeshift goose costumes which entail white full-body suits, disturbing duck beaks, and goose feather necklaces. The tweet, along with others from the Fall Guys account, states that the costumes are for a stream taking place on Tuesday, November 10. This will likely be the day Fall Guys reveals the Untitled Goose Game crossover skin.
There is a lot to unpack in the 50-second video. While the crossover has yet to be announced, the video uses the iconic jazzy piano from Untitled Goose Game, and the Fall Guys Twitter has done a poor job of trying to keep the crossover a secret. But why does Fall Guys continue to hype up its crossovers with horrific videos? Why does OliverAge24 say "Surprise!" and honk in the most menacing way possible? And how does he continue to convince his coworkers to join his cursed publicity stunts?
Regardless, it will be interesting to see how the crossover costume is designed. Untitled Goose Game's protagonist is a white goose, and Fall Guys already has plenty of avian costumes. It would be comedic to see a reskin of the pigeon or tucan skins, but it's doubtful that Mediatonic would put this much effort into hyping up a crossover costume if it's just a reskin. Seeing the Mediatonic crew dressed as geese will be a delight come next week, and the Fall Guys x Untitled Goose Game crossover skin will be even better.
