Developer Mediatonic is rolling out Fall Guys Season 3.5 today, which brings a host of new content to the experience, including an extra stage, more than 40 round remixes, additional costumes, and several bug fixes. Fall Guys' third season went live in December, complete with a winter theme and new stages.

Season 3 debuted a total of seven winter-themed rounds, injecting some variety into the competitive multiplayer title. Another obstacle entered the mix, too, in the form of a huge bell. Aptly referred to as Ringus Dingus, the bell added a fresh challenge to the obstacle courses, thanks to its wide horizontal swings capable of knocking aside anyone who gets a little too close. Fall Guys Season 3 has also been home to quite a few noteworthy surprises. Mediatonic unleashed DOOM costumers last months, for example. Not too long thereafter, the developer launched an update that honored Super Mario 64's penguin meme.

Mediatonic is deploying the Season 3.5 update for Fall Guys today. In turn, the developer, along with publisher Devolver Digital, shared full details about the mid-season update and let loose an official trailer. The star of the show is the new round known as Snowball Survival. Players can expect 40-plus remixes for existing rounds, as well. Season 3.5 also brings with it new shows and Fall Feed, the latter of which constitutes live in-game updates about eliminations and points scored. A Sugar Plum costume DLC pack is joining the mix, alongside other costumes that will appear in the in-game store. Godzilla, Untitled Goose Game, and Sonic costumes are returning to the store, too. And, finally, the bug fixes that go live today add in smoother stumbles, Ice Climb adjustments, and a laundry list of quality of life improvements.

These fresh additions to the fan-favorite competitive title are bound to keep players busy for a long time to come. Undoubtedly, this will not mark the last of Fall Guys' Season 3 updates, either. Mediatonic is bound to keep its future plans under wraps for now.

Fall Guys hit the ground running last summer, arriving on PlayStation 4 as a PS Plus title and Steam. For quite a long while, the competitive multiplayer game was all anyone wanted to talk about. While the hype that Mediatonic's breakout project enjoyed at launch seems to have waned to some degree, a massive and dedicated player-base keeps Fall Guys thriving. It should be interesting to see how long such momentum is maintained.
