Mediatonic has confirmed that Season 2 of Falls Guys is now available and detailed the various changes to the battle royale game in the update. The title became a huge hit earlier in the summer and topped the streaming charts on services such as Twitch. However, in recent weeks it has lost out to other surprise hits such as Among Us as players moved onto other experiences. But the game is still going strong and has maintained a sizeable player base.

Fans already had some sort of idea of what to expect from Season 2 of Fall Guys. The developer has been teasing new features in the update, such as the inclusion of Thicc Bonkus. This large hammer is a similar obstacle to Big Yeetus and will act as a giant hazard that players have to avoid. The Knight Fever round had also previously been featured in a teaser trailer for the second season, although it was not exactly made clear what the rest of the rounds would include.

Season 2 of Fall Guys is officially releasing today and developer Mediatonic has detailed exactly what will change with the update. According to a press release from the studio, the new season will include a total of four fresh Medieval rounds that will rotate with the other mini-games. These include Knight Fever, Egg Siege, and Wall Guys, along with the team-based Hoopsie Legends. Season 2 will also come with new costumes and emotes while the developer has also added a Show Selector feature which will allow players to choose from a selection of themed playlists. Mediatonic also revealed that existing rounds have been updated with slightly different looks to freshen them up.

The launch of Season 2 of Fall Guys will also see players given the chance to compete in a special tournament. In collaboration with YouTube, Meditonic has organized a competition that will see $100,000 donated to UNICEF in honor of the winning team. Those who aren't interested in the competitive side of Fall Guys will still be able to try and get some crowns, though, with the developer also revealing that the awards should be easier to achieve than ever before.

The second season of Fall Guys has been hotly anticipated for weeks now. While the base game proved incredibly popular, fans had started to grow tired fo playing the same rounds over and over again. With Season 2 set to introduce a variety of new game modes and updating older rounds, this should no longer be a problem. Hopefully, Mediatonic will keep updating Fall Guys and the new content will bring back players to the game.
