Fall Guys is invading Fortnite thanks to the probably inevitable development of player-made maps and mini-games designed in Fortnite's Creative mode. While they're both technically battle royale games, Fall Guys and Fortnite have little else in common, except for the obvious fact that they're both immensely popular among players and streamers.

After releasing as a free offer for PlayStation Plus owners, Fall Guys rapidly became the most downloaded PS Plus title of all time. Not only that, but the game’s stellar popularity resulted in a series of cosmetic crossovers with several huge titles, while modders took the chance to feature Fall Guys’ renowned jelly beans in some other games. Now, the community efforts continue in Fortnite.

As one of the few games with a built-in feature-rich Creative mode, Fortnite serves perfectly as a new playground for Fall Guys-inspired competitions. YouTuber Mustard Plays recently showcased a fan-made Fornite map by 3dlab called Tumble Lads. It offers a total of six challenges based on Fall Guys events called Cloud Climbers, Tumble-Crumble, Om Noms, Doorbash, Beehive Yourself, and Gobble-Hole. These names are even punnier than the original game mini-games from Fall Guys. Every round, a random challenge is chosen, and the winning player is crowned based on points earn in five successive rounds. Mustard Plays claims that these challenges are really well-designed, and are fun to play. In the video, the content creator shared some gameplay recorded with the team of modders behind the map.

There’s actually a bit more parkour in Fortnite’s version of Fall Guys, and some of the familiar rules from the popular party game are altered to fit the mechanics of the Epic’s title. The map can be instantly accessed by Island Code 5361-9496-2479, but it is worth noting that the physics are slightly wacky as well, simply because Fortnite wasn’t intended for a playstyle like that of Fall Guys. That being said, the original Fall Guys experience is set to receive a number of brand new game modes and mini-games to look forward to in Season 2. The anticipated update will utilize a Medieval setting while adding matching costumes and cosmetic items.

Fall Guys’ amusing recreation in Fortnite is yet more proof that the incredibly popular indie title has become a phenomenon in the world of gaming. As a mix between a party game and a battle royale experience, Fall Guys is definitely inspired at its core by early battle royale titles such as Epic Games’ hugely popular Fortnite, which makes the mashup of the two even sweeter.
