The Fall Guys community manager gifted the best jelly bean in the game the Portal 2 crossover skin a couple of days before it hits the costume shop, and the internet once again exploded. The player's name was not given, and it was up to the community to find who Fall Guys had deemed The Fallen One.
Fall Guys has received a ton of support online from its community and has since trended multiple times on Twitter since its launch two weeks ago. The official Fall Guys Twitter has amassed over 1 million followers pulling some outrageous stunts such as launching a bidding war between huge content creators and companies, negotiating with various franchises to have crossover costumes included in Fall Guys, and even harassing one of the internet's largest streamers. And so far, these antics have netted Fall Guys a huge outpouring of love for the game.
Late Thursday night, the Fall Guys Twitter stated that it had gone rogue and had found the player who is "statistically the best" and had gifted them Saturday's costume early. They also nicknamed this player The Fallen One, which started to trend on Twitter shortly after the announcement. In a series of tweets afterward, Fall Guys claimed not to know who the player was and that it was up to the community to find this chosen player. The name of the player was revealed to be Fall Guy 1839, which gave little insight into who the winner actually was as there are multiple accounts with that number. After hours of searching, one of Twitch's biggest streamers, Dr. Lupo, went live and discovered that he had been gifted the P-body skin from Portal 2.
Dr. Lupo has been deemed "statistically the best" at Fall Guys, and some would say rightfully so. At the time of press, Lupo has 58 wins, which is far more than most players. Ironically, he is close friends with TimTheTatman who is statistically the worst Fall Guys streamer. Lupo even mentions in the clip of him getting the costume that "Tim is going to be so mad."
Whether gamers agree or not, Dr. Lupo is more than deserving of the spotlight he has been given. Having raised some of the largest amounts of money for charity from the gaming community statistically makes him the best gamer, and his multitude of wins in Fall Guys only backs that claim. It is also great to know that players will be able to play as P-body come Saturday as long as they have 10 wins under their belts.
