Marvel releases the first The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, WandaVision and Loki footage in an MCU Disney+ teaser trailer during Super Bowl LIV. The Falcon and the Winter Soldier will mark the first MCU show to premiere on Disney+, followed by WandaVision later in 2020, then Loki in Spring 2021. Marvel chief Kevin Feige confirmed The Falcon and the Winter Soldier's 2020 release date at San Diego Comic-Con 2019, where he was joined by the show's two stars, Anthony Mackie and Sebastian Stan. The actors will reprise their MCU roles as Sam Wilson aka Falcon and Bucky Barnes aka Winter Soldier in the series. WandaVision will feature the MCU characters Wanda Maximoff aka Scarlet Witch (Elizabeth Olsen) and Vision (Paul Bettany), while Loki sees the return of Tom Hiddleston's trickster god.

In addition to Mackie and Stan, The Falcon and the Winter Soldier will feature the MCU returns of Emily VanCamp as Sharon Carter and Daniel Brühl as Captain America: Civil War villain Baron Zemo. The series will also introduce Wyatt Russell as John Walker aka U.S. Agent. The Falcon and the Winter Soldier started filming late in 2019 ahead of its 2020 release date. WandaVision is also currently filming, with Olsen and Bettany joined by Teyonah Parris as adult Monica Rambeau, a younger version of which was introduced in Captain Marvel. Loki has also seemingly started filming, with Hiddleston being joined in the series by MCU newcomers Owen Wilson and Sophia Di Martino. Now, Marvel Studios and Disney+ have revealed the very first footage from not only The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, but WandaVision and Loki as well.

In Marvel and Disney+'s 30-second Big Game spot, the teaser features footage from The Falcon and the Winter Soldier of Sam Wilson training with the Captain America shield he received from Steve Rogers in Avengers: Endgame, plus looks at Winter Soldier and Zemo. Then it transitions into footage from WandaVision, featuring Scarlet Witch's comics-accurate costume, before finally revealing our first look at Hiddleston in Loki. Watch the Marvel Studios Disney+ Super Bowl TV spot below.

The first footage of The Falcon and the Winter Soldier also reveals the back of U.S. Agent in a brief glimpse, as well as a few shots of Sam and Bucky teaming up. It doesn't go too deep into the plot of the series, though there are likely to be two storylines, one in which Winter Soldier confronts Zemo, and one about Sam dealing with U.S. Agent becoming the new Captain America. As for WandaVision, the footage confirms the sitcom tone that's been teased for the Marvel series, with Wanda and Vision appearing in various classic-style sitcoms - and in one, Wanda appears to be pregnant. Lastly, Loki doesn't offer much more than a shot of Hiddleston in what appears to be some kind of prison jumpsuit and threatening the burn the place to the ground.

Altogether, it's an impressive reel of footage for Marvel's first three Disney+ series, but it's still holding back on some key information: release dates. The Falcon and the Winter Soldier will reportedly premiere in August, and it was recently confirmed WandaVision will air in 2020, moving from its previously announced 2021 release. Loki will premiere in Spring 2021, but it's unclear exactly when it will kick off. Now that the first footage from all three series has been unveiled, hopefully it won't be too long until more information and release dates are confirmed. For now, though, this Marvel Disney+ Super Bowl TV spot is sure to tide fans over for quite some time.
