New The Falcon and The Winter Soldier tie-in merchandise gives fans a good look at the heroes' suits. Marvel Studios' upcoming TV show will be the first small screen project it will release for Disney+. Initially set to debut earlier this month, the project is now delayed indefinitely after the coronavirus pandemic forced it to halt production. Nonetheless, marketing materials for it are starting to show up.

Focusing on Captain America's two best friends, The Falcon and the Winter Soldier's story is set after the events of Avengers: Endgame, which means that Sam Wilson and Bucky Barnes will have to move forward in a world where Steve Rogers is no longer the Star-Spangled Avenger. The shield and the mantle was officially passed down to Falcon, however, assuming the role won't be a walk in the park. The show will revolve around Steve's chosen successor stepping up to the plate as the MCU's next Captain America amidst internal and external hurdles. Bucky, on the other hand, will have his own arc in the show, although that's largely still being kept under wraps.

As with every Marvel project, The Falcon and the Winter Soldier will debut new costumes for its titular characters. Fans have had a look at them thanks to official concept art for the show, but new tie-in merchandise spotted by Twitter user @SpinelessOyster reveals the public's first full look at them. Check it out below:

As of now, Marvel Studios has remained mum about when fans can expect The Falcon and the Winter Soldier might release on Disney+. The show is currently on its tail end of production, supposedly with only nine days left of filming, which would be fairly easy to finish if they can finally restart working on it. What's tricky about the project, however, is that remaining work involves overseas shooting, which is may be more difficult to navigate during a global health crisis. Rumor has it that filming will start on the show again sometime soon, but given the state of the pandemic, that could still change moving forward. The uncertainty is more likely the reason Disney and Marvel Studios are hesitant to commit to a new release window. Instead, they prefer that production has officially wrapped up before announcing The Falcon and the Winter Soldier's release date.

Previous looks on Falcon's new suit never revealed the character's matching wings, which also seems to come in fresh colors. It's curious where he got his new armor in The Falcon and the Winter Soldier considering that it appears to be significantly changed from his last one. As for Bucky, the biggest takeaway from his appearance is his pants, which mines inspiration from military uniforms with their tapered cut partnered with high-cut boots. Perhaps its an indication of his return to the character's Captain America: The First Avenger personality before he was brainwashed by HYDRA. If anything, his shorter hairdo in the show also backs up this idea.
