A new line of posters for The Falcon and the Winter Soldier put the spotlight on the returning MCU characters. Following last weekend's WandaVision finale, Marvel fans won't have to wait very long for the next piece of content from the massive franchise. The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, the second MCU-set series made for Disney+, will premiere in a little less than two weeks, and the promotional campaign is officially reaching its peak.

The Falcon and the Winter Soldier is set in the aftermath of Avengers: Endgame and will see unlikely allies Sam Wilson (Anthony Mackie) and Bucky Barnes (Sebastian Stan) teaming up for a new mission. Both are left reeling by the events of Endgame, which saw them return from the dead and their best friend Steve Rogers (Chris Evans) hang up his Captain America shield. As Sam and Bucky confront this new world and where they stand in it, they'll be joined by fellow MCU vets Sharon Carter (Emily VanCamp) and Helmut Zemo (Daniel Brühl).

It's those four MCU stars who take center stage in the newest posters for The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, recently unveiled by Disney+. Sam, Bucky, Sharon, and Zemo each get their own sheet hyping up the show's upcoming release, and the patriotic theme is in full display with the characters standing in the middle of a star. Also of note: Sam is still wearing his Falcon wings, and he doesn't have the Captain America shield. Check out the posters down below.

Sam and Bucky might be the stars of The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, but many fans are just as excited to see the returns of Sharon and Zemo. In the former's case, Sharon has largely been kept in the love interest role for Steve, which has led to some uncomfortable moments due to her relationship with Peggy Carter (Hayley Atwell). The Falcon and the Winter Soldier presents the opportunity to have Sharon grow beyond that box and become her own character. With Zemo, he made a solid impression on audiences as Captain America: Civil War's villain, but The Falcon and the Winter Soldier will see him continue his mission on perhaps a deeper level than before. In short, the above characters are poised to get some thrilling exploration.

Interestingly, one major player from The Falcon and the Winter Soldier hasn't received his own poster: Wyatt Russell's John Walker, aka US Agent. Though it's been widely report Walker will be the US government's pick for the new Captain America, he's been largely kept out of the marketing for The Falcon and the Winter Soldier. It's clear the series wants to keep him a secret, and by not giving him a poster, they're ensuring there's even more hype around his debut. Luckily, audiences won't have to wait much longer before the show arrives.
