Several set videos from The Falcon and The Winter Soldier reveal more details about a huge set piece featured in the Disney+ Marvel Studios series. The first Marvel show to hit Disney's streaming service focuses on Bucky Barnes and Sam Wilson in the wake of Avengers: Endgame, which ended with Steve Rogers naming Sam as the new Captain America. For a while, it was suspected the series might be about Bucky challenging Sam for the mantle, feeling like he was somehow more deserving of the Captain America moniker.

However, we've since learned actor Wyatt Russell had been cast as John Walker, aka U.S. Agent, aka the man who also becomes Captain America, leading many to hope Bucky and Sam would team up to end his reign. In the comics, U.S. Agent is a much more violent Captain America than his predecessor (a trait Sam and Bucky would undoubtedly take issue with) and is eventually taken down by a furious Steve Rogers. The only information that's surfaced about the MCU's John Walker has been pulled from set photos. Still, a recent video reveals a much different set up than previously anticipated: a Bucky and U.S. Agent team-up.

The original set photos revealed an action-packed sequence involving Walker, Bucky, a group of mysterious bad guys, and some brutal hand-to-hand combat from the new Captain America. Thanks to Murphy's Multiversewe now have multiple videos, shot from a different angle, that reveal further information about the scene and its participants. The latest videos give a slightly longer look at the scene, which appears to feature Walker and Bucky taking on a gang of people (Murphy's thinks they might be an all-female gang) together in order to save some hostages. Walker aggressively fights the crew as Bucky opens the back of a SWAT vehicle, releasing the terrified hostages. Once the hostages are clear, Bucky returns to help Walker in the fight. Take a look at all four videos below:

The videos do seem to confirm some sort of partnership between Bucky and the new Captain America. When we last saw Bucky, he was attending Tony Stark's funeral at the end of Avengers: Endgamebut it was never revealed how he managed to be there while still considered one of the most wanted men in the MCU. It's possible he was given a free pass after Thanos wiped out half the life in the universe, but the more likely scenario is that he cut some type of deal with the US Government. That could be why he's seen assisting Walker in the above videos.

Another possibility for Bucky's partnership with Walker is that it could be part of a larger plot between Bucky and Sam Wilson to dethrone the newly crowned Captain America. Maybe The Falcon and The Winter Soldier is actually about their secret attempt to undercut the US Government's choice of Cap replacement, working with Walker to stop him before he takes things too far. It's still unclear exactly when the series will premiere on Disney+, but Marvel has confirmed the show will hit the streaming service sometime in 2020.
