The first episode of The Falcon and the Winter Soldier saw Bucky Barnes trying to fix some of the damage he did during his Winter Soldier days, and for that, he has a list of people he needs to make amends with – and here’s every name on the list revealed so far. The Marvel Cinematic Universe keeps moving forward and expanding now that the Infinity Saga came to an end after the events of Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame, with Spider-Man: Far From Home closing this first wave of content.

The MCU’s Phase 4 will not only cover the movie side of this universe but also TV/streaming, and Marvel has a long list of TV projects that will connect directly with some of its upcoming movies. First came WandaVision, and now Marvel fans will get to see Sam and Bucky back in action in The Falcon and the Winter Soldier. Set a couple of months after the events of Avengers: Endgame, the series follows Sam Wilson/Falcon (Anthony Mackie) as he decides whether to take on the mantle of Captain America or not, and Bucky Barnes (Sebastian Stan), who is still trying to fix his past mistakes as he deals with the trauma caused by his days as the Winter Soldier.

Although the series will see Falcon and Bucky teaming up, the first episode of the series was all about catching up with these two after the events of Avengers: Endgame, where Steve Rogers (Chris Evans) passed on the mantle of Captain America to Falcon. Bucky, on the other hand, has other problems to deal with, as even though he went through a whole healing process in Wakanda, he’s still dealing with some of his past demons. Bucky is going to therapy, and as part of it he made a list of people he has to make amends with after all the problems and pain he brought them while working for HYDRA as the Winter Soldier – and here are all the names revealed so far:

Bucky amends Falcon Winter Soldier
  • A. Rostov
  • P.W. Hauser
  • F. Gannod
  • I. Tahlazar
  • H. Zemo
  • H. Henrikson
  • N. Sari
  • T. Osman
  • L. Kaminski
  • M. Kaminski
  • C. Kusnetsov
  • Y. Nakasima
  • C. Holbein
  • S. Whitaker
  • J. Weaver

Of course, these are not the only people Bucky has to make amends with, but so far, these are the names that appeared on screen. The Falcon and the Winter Soldier episode one also saw Bucky befriending an old man, who was later revealed to be the father of one of Bucky’s victims, and that particular murder has been giving him constant nightmares. The man is Yori Nakasima, and Bucky hasn’t found the strength yet to come clean to him and apologize for what happened. However, the most notable name on the list is H. Zemo, who is none other than the Helmut Zemo (Daniel Brühl) viewers met in Captain America: Civil War, and the one who triggered the Civil War conflict among the Avengers by framing Bucky for the death of King T’Chaka. Zemo got a hold of the Winter Soldier Book that contained the trigger words that would send Bucky back into Winter Soldier mode and used them to ignite conflict among the Avengers.

Zemo was captured at the end of Civil War and will return in The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, though how he escaped the Joint Counter Terrorist Center and what his new plans are remain to be seen. As Bucky hasn’t followed the three rules his psychiatrist gave him for making amends (not doing anything illegal, nobody gets hurt, and letting them know he’s Bucky Barnes, not the Winter Soldier), it’s unknown how he will approach Zemo when the time comes, but what’s for sure is that there will be a fight before any efforts to make amends can happen (or, simply, that won’t happen at all). Bucky still has a lot of work to do on his own, and with that in mind, The Falcon and the Winter Soldier promises to be a very intense and emotional ride.
