While the community's sentiment regarding Pokémon Scarlet and Violet's questionable launch has had no shortage of salt, the new salty Nacli has become a Generation IX favorite for many fans. This novel Rock Salt Pokémon starts as a mushroom-shaped entity resembling a Mushroom from the Super Mario franchise. However, after reaching a certain level milestone, it evolves into Naclstack, a blocky quadruped that looks like a creature out of Minecraft. Finally, Garganacl, the fully evolved member of the Nacli family, is a massive golem of pure salt. Despite its intimidating appearance, it is known to be gentle and caring for injured pocket monsters, sprinkling salt from its fingertips to heal the wounded creatures.

Similar to the evolution process of Deino into Hydreigon in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, the Nacli family relies wholly on leveling to evolve from one form to another. Specifically, Nacli evolves into Naclstack after reaching Level 24, and Naclstack transforms into Garganacl at Level 38. Despite having such a low-level requirement compared to other third-tier evolutions, Garganacl stands as one of the best Rock-type pocket monsters in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet. For instance, its superior Defense of 130 makes it an unkillable fortress in certain combat situations.

Evolving Naclstack into Garganacl in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet

Since Nacli is a very common spawn in southern portions of Paldea, Trainers will likely catch their first Rock Salt Pokémon within the first few hours of their adventure in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet. Accordingly, for many, Nacli will be a staple Rock-type pocket monster they use early on in their journey, allowing the creature to level naturally into Naclstack and eventually into Garganacl. In other words, many fans might only need to feed this pocket monster a few EXP Candy to get it to its required level for evolution, as it is one of the more accessible Pokémon that can develop with the Trainer protagonist during their journey.

Nevertheless, not everyone will use Nacli on their journey, but they still might want to eventually evolve it into Naclstack and Garganacl in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet. If these fans have already reached the end or postgame content, then EXP and Rare Candy from Tera Raiding might be the most efficient and time-saving method. After all, clearing five and six-star Raids rewards players with high-tier Candy that can get Naclstack to Level 38 in no time. Additionally, Trainers should always make sure to keep members of the Nacli family in their active party to receive bonus experience points from their endgame activities.
