The latest season of Fortnite is massive. Possibly its biggest addition is everyone's favorite bounty hunter, The Mandalorian. Fans of the Disney+ original show were quick to hop into this latest season and control Mando himself. Players will have a long list of challenges to complete and rewards to claim as well. Some are fairly easy, requiring players to travel short distances and retrieve different items. Others are a little more in-depth. Even the addition of Gold Bars has shaken up the Fortnite formula.
Weekly challenges are a great way to level up this season's battle pass quickly. Of course, players must purchase the battle pass for 950 V-Bucks if they want to unlock all its rewards. However, grinding out the free rewards will grant players enough V-Bucks to buy the current battle pass. Among these small challenges is a secret evidence case hidden in Misty Meadows. This guide will show players exactly where it is.
Fortnite: Evidence Case Location
Misty Meadows is located on the South end of the map between Slurpy Swamp and Catty Corner. Players will want to turn their sound up and listen for the case at it will spawn in several different locations around Misty Meadows. The below video from YouTuber PerfectScore shows 1 of several different locations.
The case itself could appear in the following locations (according to users on Reddit):
- Near the freezers in the Southwest corner of town.
- On the picnic table shown in the above video.
- On a bench by a fountain in the Southeast corner of Misty Meadows
- In front of 'Cap n' Carp' on one of the tables.
There could be more locations yet to discover.
Upon completion, players will be rewarded with 1,000 XP. Be warned; this quest is sure to make Misty Meadows a hot drop as other players will be racing for the Evidence Case.
This challenge is also similar to the Razor Crest challenge in the Madnalorian's quest-line. Landing on the Razor crest in the desert outside Colossal Coliseum is an easy way to complete that challenge as well.
In its infancy, Fortnite's latest season has yet to unveil all its hidden pieces. Most recently was the addition of Kratos from the God of War series. Fornite has also teased a possible Predator cross-over, thus expanding this season's bounty hunter theme further. There are also rumors of Master Chief breaking out of the Halo universe and making his way into Fortnite. The bridge between Halo and Fortnite could spell big changes for the future of gaming.
