A now-viral photo shows Spider-Man: No Way Home’s Peter #2 and #3, Andrew Garfield and Tobey Maguire, attending a screening of Everything Everywhere All At Once. The two actors reprised their Sony roles in last year’s MCU extravaganza, swinging into action alongside Tom Holland’s Spider-Man when it was released in theaters on December 17, 2021. Before the multiversal film’s release, many suspected Maguire and Garfield would return as their web slingers from Sam Raimi and Marc Webb’s movies, respectively. However, Garfield and company did an admirable job lying to the press and keeping seeds of doubt alive.

Everything Everywhere All At Once follows Chinese-American immigrant Evelyn Wang (Michelle Yeoh), who runs a laundromat with her husband Waymond (Ke Huy Quan). When Wang thinks financial troubles are the worst of her problems, an interdimensional rupture unravels reality, and she discovers she can access the abilities and memories of alternate versions of herself—which she needs to do to save the multiverse. Since being released in theaters on March 11, Everything Everywhere All At Once has become acclaimed across multiple platforms. For example, the film currently has a 97% fresh rating on the review aggregator site Rotten Tomatoes.

Now, Maguire and Garfield were recently spotted at a CAA screening of directing duo Daniel Scheinert and Daniel Kwan’s, known as “the Daniels,” Everything Everywhere All At Once. The film was introduced by the directors and cast member Jamie Lee Curtis. Photos of the “Spider-Bros” like the one below (via Culture Crave) have been making the rounds online.

It's hard to deny the connection between Spider-Man: No Way Home and the movie Maguire and Garfield saw. Everything Everywhere All at Once has been praised for its multiverse storyline, with some even saying that it's the multiverse movie ever made. Of course, some may beg to differ. With Garfield and Maguire both starring in one of the highest-grossing movies of all time (that also happens to be about the multiverse), it's charming to see the pair not only see the film, but to still be hanging out after their experience filming the Marvel movie together.

It’s certainly endearing to see that Garfield and Maguire’s experience with No Way Home has extended beyond a paycheck. Having the three Spider-Men unite on-screen was as memorable for the actors as the fans. Considering how emotional Everything Everywhere All at Once is, the pair was likely touched by the story about family and it's hard to deny the similarities between the two films on a thematic level. No Way Home and its many BTS clips and now available for home purchase and Everything Everywhere All At Once is now playing in theaters.
