The iconic hot dog fingers from Everything Everywhere All at Once are being auctioned off by A24. Written and directed by Daniel Kwan and Daniel Scheinert, the critically-acclaimed science-fiction action film stars Michelle Yeoh as Evelyn Wang, a down-on-her-luck woman who gets sucked into an interdimensional war against an alternate version of her daughter. One unique universe saw Evelyn in a relationship with IRS tax inspector Deirdre Beaubeirdra (Jamie Lee Curtis), where the two sported flimsy hot dog fingers.
A24 will soon auction multiple items from Everything Everywhere All at Once, including the hot dog fingers prosthetics. The auction opens February 23 at 10 am Eastern Standard Time. Along with the hot dog finger prosthetics, interested parties can bid on multiple costumes worn by the actors in the film, such as Deirdre's butt plug award and Raccacoonie.
Will Everything Everywhere All at Once Get a Sequel
Released in March 2022, Everything Everywhere All at Once was a surprise hit, receiving praise from both critics and audiences alike. The film sits at a 95 percent Fresh rating on Rotten Tomatoes and became A24's most financially successful release in the studio's history. Due to the many possibilities inherent in the film's multiverse concept, Kwan and Scheinert have repeatedly been questioned about a possible follow-up.
The directors previously addressed a possible sequel that would have involved Evelyn and her husband, Waymond Wang (Ke Huy Quan), becoming radicalized by social media. However, the creative partners clarified their comments and claimed that the Everything Everywhere sequel premise was only a joke. To date, Kwan and Scheinert have yet to confirm any sequels are in the works. Instead, the two are spending their time on Mason, a Showtime television series starring The Walking Dead's Steven Yeun and standup comedian, Nathan Min.
Although Everything Everywhere All at Once saw Evelyn's character arc wrap up nicely by the film's end, there is still room for additional stories through the movie's supporting characters, mainly Deirdre, who remained emotionally unfulfilled. Playing a villain in the film, Deirdre can lead a sequel that challenges her character while further exploring the complexities of the multiverse. Barring any updates, there is yet any confirmation if Everything Everywhere All At Once will get a sequel.
