Holiday Wars season 4 premiered on November 4, and fans are looking forward to the eight-episode baking competition. During the season, nine teams of cake and sugar artists will compete for the grand prize. The show begins with qualifying rounds that lead to the main competition.

Holiday Wars season 1 began in 2018 and was hosted by Jonathan Bennett. The following season was hosted by Raven-Symoné, while Maneet Chauhan took the reins in Holiday Wars season 3. Shinmin Li has been a judge throughout all four seasons, but she was joined by Jason Smith (season 1), Erin McGinn (season 2), and Aarti Sequeira (season 3).

According to the Food Network website, Holiday Wars season 4 will welcome a new host. Food Network staple Jeff Mauro will serve as the host of the baking competition. The judges for Holiday Wars season 4 will also include returning judges Shinmin and Aarti.

The Holiday Wars Qualifying Rounds

Holiday Wars will begin with three qualifying rounds. The first episode, titled "Elf's Downhill Derby," will ask three teams to create a derby car for a race between Santa's elves. Two teams will move on to the main round of the competition, while one is sent home by the judges. In the second episode, titled "Hanging with Old St. Nick," three new teams will compete in the second qualifying round. They will have to imagine how Santa spends his time relaxing with his best friend. The Holiday Wars judges will send two teams to the main competition while one team goes home. Holiday Wars season 4, episode 3 is titled "Thanksgiving Turkey Trot" and features the final qualifying round. It will ask the competitors to imagine that a turkey recruits a farm friend to ride and race in the first annual Turkey Trot. Shinmin and Aarti will have the difficult task of sending two more teams to the main round while one team leaves the competition.

During Holiday Wars season 4, episode 4, titled "Reindeer's New Hobby," the six remaining teams will compete against each other for the first time. They are asked to envision a new hobby for Santa's reindeer to enjoy when they're off sleigh duty. From this point on, one team will leave the Food Network baking competition show at the end of each episode. In the following episode, titled "Ugly Sweater Party," cake and sugar artists will have to create a woodland creature who has thrown an ugly sweater party for all their forest friends. Holiday Wars episode 6, "Time Travelin Santa," will ask each team to create a version of Santa from a specific time period. Episode 7, "A Very Peanuts Christmas Tree," will challenge the remaining teams to create a Christmas tree featuring the Peanuts characters. The Holiday Wars finale is titled "North Pole Talent Show," where Santa is hosting the first annual North Pole talent show to keep everyone's spirits up as they head toward Christmas. The final two teams will showcase the secret talents of the residents of the town. At the end of the episode, Jeff will help Shinmin and Aarti crown the Holiday Wars champion.

The Holiday Wars Grand Prize

The Holiday Wars winner will have made it through several rounds in order to be crowned champion. Whichever team wins will take home the Holiday Wars championship title. They will also win the grand prize, which is an all-expenses paid trip to Iceland's Northern Lights.

Holiday Wars is an exciting baking competition that challenges bakers to use their creativity to make delightful holiday desserts.
