90 Day Fiancé viewers were introduced to four of the six featured couples during the 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way season 4 premiere. The popular spin-off show will feature six Americans traveling to foreign countries to try and make their international relationships work, which makes the premise a reversal of the original show. A lot was learned about the four 90 Day Fiancé franchise couples during the premiere on Sunday night.

90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way season 4 will feature five new 90 Day Fiancé franchise couples, in addition to Love in Paradise: The Caribbean, returning couple Daniele Gates and Yohan Geronimo. The duo returned for the premiere along with newcomers Kris Foster and Jeymi Noguera, Gabriel Paboga and Isabel Posada, and Jen Boecher and Rishi Singh. That leaves couples Nicole and Mahmoud Elsherbiny, as well as mysterious newcomers Debbie and Oussama, as the final two couples who have yet to be introduced. However, the four couples who were featured shared a lot about their upcoming storylines that will be shown throughout the season.

Kris Foster & Jeymi Noguera Prepare For Marriage

Kris and Jeymi are the second same-sex female couple to join the extended 90 Day Fiancé franchise. They are in their first same-sex relationship after failed relationships with men. American mother-of-two Kris shared that she is from a small Bible Belt town of just 3,000 people. She was married twice and has two adult children, Starr and Dayne. She identifies as bisexual but has a preference for women. Kris was living a closeted lifestyle and seeking someone with a similar background when she met Colombian native Jeymi online. The two ladies have since been chatting for a year but have yet to meet in person. Kris plans to travel to Bogota to move in with newcomer Jeymi and marry her just nine days after her arrival. Like Kris, Jeymi has never had a serious relationship with a woman. She detailed her unsatisfactory experiences with men in the bedroom and made it clear that she identifies as a lesbian. The women will deal with some issues, as Kris gave up both her jobs as a shipping company manager and school security worker to move to Colombia.

Daniele Gates & Yohan Geronimo Face Differences

As the only returning 90 Day Fiancé franchise couple, Daniele and Yohan are already being called out online. Daniele has received complaints for being unrealistic, as the New York yoga instructor plans to give up her whole life to move to the Dominican Republic to be with her personal trainer husband, Yohan. However, Yohan believes Daniele's move is temporary, and they will move to the U.S. after their paperwork is approved. Though the couple has physical chemistry, they have a language barrier. Yohan is still learning English, while Daniele is able to hold conversations in Spanish. Daniele and Yohan met in a hotel lobby while she was on vacation, and Daniele knew she wanted to marry the six-foot-seven man immediately. Daniele is ten years older than her husband and rather different, as he believes her Ifa religion is a form of witchcraft, and he is an Evangelical Christian. Daniele believes she can “manifest” a new life with Yohan, though her friends are concerned that he is a “sanky panky” user. Daniele and Yohan will be faced with major issues over where to live, though finances, cultural differences, and gender roles will also play in their relationship drama.

Jen Boecher & Rishi Singh Fell In Love

Jen and Rishi are the new Sumit Singh and Jenny Slatten, as they are an Indian and American duo with arranged marriage issues factored into their storyline. However, that was not an issue during the first episode when Jen explained how Rishi managed to charm her and win her within a month after they met in a hotel in India. Jen’s brother expressed his concerns over her historically poor romantic choices, though she is ready to risk it all for the fitness instructor, who is 14 years younger than her. Rishi, who describes himself as “Indian Jesus,” hails from Jaipur, India. He has a Master’s Degree and a law degree and left the corporate law sector to be a model and work in fitness. Jen was unsure of Rishi at first but is now completely charmed by him, though their distance has created some insecurity. Jen and Rishi spent about a month and a half together, though the 90 Day Fiancé franchise couple has now been apart for two years due to the COVID-19 pandemic and travel restrictions. In addition to dealing with cultural issues, Jen brought up Rishi dodging her calls at one point and made her think they were over.

Gabriel Paboga & Isabel Posada Win Fans Over

Transgender activist and businessman Gabriel and his Colombian partner Isabel are already shaping up to be fan-favorites on 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way. Gabriel owns and operates GMPwear underwear, which provides an artificial bulge for the female to male trans individuals who favor the appearance. Gabe was looking for a business supplier in Colombia when he met Isabel, and he quickly fell for her. Isabel accepts Gabe as he is, though he wants to tell her parents that he is transgender before he marries their daughter. This could prove to be difficult, as 90 Day Fiancé newcomer Gabe has no idea if the news will change their opinion of him. Gabe has been back and forth between the U.S. and Medellin, Colombia, where he rents a place for Isabel and her children, aged 11 and 16. Gabe’s sister reminded him that he tends to move fast, as evidenced by his tattooing an ex’s name on his back, though he tattooed Isabel’s name on his arm and declared he was ready to be with her. If Gabe moves, he will be leaving behind his family and friends, though he is fully ready to start a life with Isabel.

Gabe and many others from the season have received a warm reception from 90 Day Fiancé viewers. The new season of 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way seems like a hit just after one episode. However, since there is only one episode out, there is still a lot more to come from this cast.
