With the size of the massive Marvel crossover in Fortnite Season 4, some players may not have quite reached those top Tiers of the Battle Pass and unlocked all the skins and cosmetics featuring their favorite Marvel characters. With this in mind, Epic Games has chosen to delay the end of Season 4 by a few weeks. As players continue to grind for XP and continue unlocking some of the exclusive goodies, they also have an opportunity to earn bonus XP each week. Though Weekly Challenges and XP Coins ended with Week 10, players can participate in the XP Xtravaganza challenges instead to add a burst of extra XP to their Battle Pass.
The challenges in the XP Xtravaganza work similarly to the Overtime challenges from previous seasons. Players will need to complete the challenge in three stages, which must be done in at least three separate matches, to earn their bonus XP. The first four challenges will award players 20,000 XP upon completion, the last challenge is usually more difficult and will award 50,000 XP. All XP Xtravaganza challenges are also Team challenges, meaning players can complete them more quickly and efficiently if they choose to work together in Duos or Squads. This week, players will be asked to play with fire by dealing damage, eliminating opponents, shooting at gas cans, and using a helicopter. Every XP Xtravaganza Week 2 Challenge in Fortnite Season 4
This week is all about the damage in the XP Xtravaganza. Players will need to find creative ways to deal out damage and eliminate their opponents, then do the same to some fish. The Week 12 (or, Week 2) XP Xtravaganza Challenges and their stages are:
Deal Damage With Shotguns To Opponents
- Stage One: Deal 1000 Damage with Shotguns To Opponents
- Stage Two: Deal 2000 Damage with Shotguns To Opponents
- Stage Three: Deal 5000 Damage with Shotguns To Opponents
Eliminate Opponents With Weapons
- Stage One: Eliminate opponents with Common weapons
- Stage Two: Eliminate opponents with Rare weapons
- Stage Three: Eliminate opponents with Epic weapons
Damage Opponents Using The Choppa's Blades
- Stage One: Deal 50 Damage to Opponents Using the Choppa's Blades
- Stage Two: Deal 100 Damage to Opponents Using the Choppa's Blades
- Stage Three: Deal 250 Damage to Opponents Using the Choppa's Blades
Catch Fish
- Stage One: Catch 10 Fish
- Stage Two: Catch 10 Fish With A Pro Fishing Rod
- Stage Three: Catch 10 Fish With Explosive Weapons
The final challenge asks players to shoot a gas can thrown by a teammate before it hits the ground. This one will likely take some time and finesse to accomplish, and players may want to try this in Team Rumble to avoid getting eliminated by an opportunistic player looking for easy kills. Players will find a lot of gas cans around the Stark Industries POI, called Upstate New York. Players should collect a few of them to make sure they have backups in case the shooting teammate misses. Whichever teammate intends to do the throwing should find an elevated spot from which to throw the cans. The other teammate should shoot from below.
All the Deal Damage challenges can be completed on the Doom henchmen and Stark Robots in the game, which might be easier for players to accomplish than fighting other players. The elimination challenges, however, will need to be completed on other players.
